**************** Sticks And Stones ****************

Author: Sparrow ([email protected])
Version: v0 BETA
Requires: Morrowind
Introduction:
=============
Ever been wandering in the wilderness and your weapon breaks? Ever wanted to be able to just pick up a stick and use it as a weapon? Now you can.
This mod replaces approx 3/4 of all of the fallen logs and all of the steaming lava vents across Vvardenfell and replaces them with containers. Inside you may find:
* Long Pointy Sticks (spears) - plain, slimy and really slimy(1)
* Short Pointy Sticks (short blade) - plain, slimy and really slimy
* Throwing stones (marksman) - plain, pointy and hot(2)
* Heavy log (blunt weapon) - plain only
(1) The slimy sticks have been lying in something icky which has given them magical properties. Don't ask what... heck *I* don't want to know!
(2) Found in steaming lava vents only, hence hot
The values of each are set to 0 (after all, who is going to want to buy a bunch of sticks, even Really Slimy ones?) and they are all classed as non-normal weapons, meaning they can effect all creatures. The weapons are all fairly fragile too, as they are meant to be just discarded once they break.
Why is this a beta? Well I haven't tested really thoroughly with all sorts of mod configurations and I'm still not entirely happy with the placement of some of the items in the player's hands. It was set up with Better Bodies so I can't vouch for it not clipping on any other type of body. It currently uses stock MW textures too, and once I learn how to texture (or some kind soul takes pity on me and volunteers to do it for me!) I would like to replace them with something a little better. I wouldn't *expect* any serious problems with using this, but, well, we've all heard that before, haven't we?
In the future I may look to expand the weapons range or at least add them to more containers (maybe some of the hollow log meshes around the Bitter Coast area). It all depends how this version is received, really.
Installation:
=============
Very simple, just extract the RAR file to your Morrowind\Data Files directory. Then activate the mod using the Data Files option in the MW launch window (or Testool).
I have cleaned with TESTOOL and checked with TESAME so there should not be any dirty refs, GMSTs etc.
