Fulfilling a childhood Morrowind fantasy of mine right there. Great stuff. Any command creature spell/scroll will work on any cliff racer, but the scrolls from Tarhiel 2.0 in Sulipund are helpful early game. The trick to mount successfully is to be close enough to the racer after casting a spell to 'interact' with it. Jumping before interacting usually works fine.

Flying on a wild Racer is some serious Caveman energy. Took a moment to figure out how to sneak up on a Racer, but man is it worth it. I can fly wherever I want with 1 invisibility cast. And 1 dead racer after.

Yeah a calm creature spell works too, although it's probably harder because the bad bird flies upwards very fast once calmed so you have to be very quick to activate it !

Please make a readme with instructions to install I try to. Figured out on Android but  no hint in the download because no has a file structure from the "resources"

It doesn't work with this version!!

Or maybe I don't understand how to ride the cliff racer.

You need to activate the cliff racer the same way that you open containers or go through doors, while the cliff racer is not in
combat or fleeing. If you see the "Cliff Racer" box pop up when you are looking at it, it should work. Practically you either need to use Command Creature, Invisibility or Calm Creature to be able to do this, or use a mod to make cliff racers passive.

OK, I won't be able to use this, since I'm not running OpenMW, but..first of all.. really cool idea, and secondly, how did you make this work? What I mean is, did you shrink down the player character, or did you enlarge the ridden cliff racer? I'm seriously curious!

The player character is shrunk down to the point of not being rendered, made invisible and levitating and teleported out of the way, while the camera is positioned above the cliff racer and any movement/rotation inputs are passed down.

Thanks for the clear explanation, that kind of stuff really interests me.
      Happy modding!

I read confused comments then went and read the requirements on the mod page. It needs 0.49/dev build.  There is even a link you can click. I don't think required version exists for android though.

    Cool mod!

I use the latest dev version of OpenMW 0.49 for Windows but nothing happens when I get close to cliff racers.
If it works for you, can you tell me what I need to do to ride one?

Won't it work on 0.48 Android?

It works for OpenMW. Android is OpenMW, so... yes!

I asked about a certain version. It matters.
      Edit: Just checked. Doesn't work.
