I've completed the Eidolon and Delphaira's Trail has been completed in my Journal however when trying to complete "A Great New Diesease" it seems to be stuck on pushing Prupius Danulus for more information to report back to Ygra.
I've maxed Prupius Danulus's disposition and exhausted all conversation topics but he's not telling me anything new or progressing the quest, i've cured at least 7/8 people in the town of the diesease and Ygra isn't telling me anything new or progressing the quest and i've exhausted all of her topics.
Any ideas where i'm going wrong or how i can progress please?
The topic with Prupius is "Macaristic Chorea". If you've failed to convince him, then you'll have to kill him and then talk to Ygfa. Alternatively, you can enter this into the console and then talk to Ygfa: `journal md24_j_disease 80`.
Very fun little adventure, thanks! Luckily I managed to be unaware of Eidolon's existence, so ending up in an Oblivion realm with fully unique assets came as a huge positive shock.
Only issue I ran into was that the basement lagged like hell. Granted, I'm on a potato, but perhaps that cell needs some merged meshes to lessen the a ref count?
From an asset side, I found the texel density at least in the SD textures a little low compared to vanilla stuff. There were also a lot of black outlines around the alpha planes of the elevator. Not a huge issue, of course.
I can't exit the eidolon of purity, this happened after I completed the quest, when I enter the eidolon, it takes me to the top floor, then when I press action on the eidolon, nothing happens (before I would get a pop-up asking whether I want to exit or whatever) this was working fine before, now I can't get out (all my valuable items are stuck here)
The mod comes part of total-overhaul and I never had an issue before. It's only after completing the quest, that when I try to exit, nothing happens (no pop-up to exit)
Using openmw 0.49.0
Using mark and recall works but I can't "exit" once I'm in without using a recall spell. I've had to stop using this now as it was great place to store my most valuable treasures/weapons/armor. Is there a way to force it to exit without using recall as that takes me away from where I placed the scales
Pruprius never showed up in that fellas basement. I'm just trying to figure out if I missed something or maybe messed something up as I was modding the game. The Eidolon and quests within seemed to work just fine though, so if that whole thing mostly serves to get you in there I can live with not being able to mark it as complete. If I need to keep scouring the maze down there though I want to know, as I feel very baited by these paintings. I can't tell if they're suggesting I can change the layout and I feel like I'm missing something obvious. xD
I've just installed this a few days ago, and here's what I did: Infested as many people (maybe all) in town, then got the cure from the healer, then healed his manservant guy. When I asked the manservant guy again about Propius, he said he needed to go for a walk and left. After that, I picked his basement hatch and Propius was just waiting in there.
Heads up - for some inexplicable reason, this mod is overwriting "My Trade" dialogue for every NPC in Project Cyrodiil, SHOTN, and TR for me. No clue why. May be a mod conflict, but once I removed this it went away.
Make sure you have updated to the latest version. This mod only has one My Trade topic and it is filtered to an NPC unique to this mod. It's unlikely the current version is causing your issue.
wish there was a walkthrough included cause im very stuck. i was cured of the 1st initial disease by talking to the healer in fort pelagiad, she gives me a paper with a list of things you can say to cure the disease, and then.....nothing. she says to find others who have it in pelagiad and help them but i cant find ANYONE who is sick, completely stuck. and i cant find anyone else on youtube whose played this mod so that i can follow what they do, so essentially i feel like there's nothing else i can do?
Same, although I got a teeny bit further. I got 1 (one) person to cure themselves with the clever insults... and then nothing. None of the others get that dialogue. Cure disease spells worked on a few but not all (at least visually maybe??), but now I'm out of people to try it on. I guess that's a wrap then.
For those who are still stuck: After talking to the healer (Ygfa), all the people at Halfway Tavern should be struck with the disease. Curing about 3-4 of them using the disease option in dialogue and the guy at the house opposite of the tavern should progress you to the nezt stage of the quest. If for some reasons there are not enough people to cure, you can revert to previous saves to spread the disease to more people.

Funny mod and lovely visuals, but too annoying for me to have it permanently. For example some npcs kept dancing even after I finished the whole quest and was done with the eidolon location. And since the quest was over i couldnt cure them anymore with the macharo... sth dialogue.
