Hi! I am getting a series of errors loading the mod's esp, going as
"Missing object "bs_Ash_Guardian1" for reference during cell "Zergonipal" (VFWE_Daedric Shrines Addon.esp) load.
Happens for a number of different objects (creatures) in various Daedric Shrine cells. Any idea what could be the issue here?
Cheers, Terti
--edit-- In case others experience this issue, it's load order: Mlox placed Doors of Oblivion below this mod's esp and it needs to be above. And I had missed this during the list-wide manual check.
Hi! Do we need your Vvardenfell Brotherhood patch if we use Morrowind Extended Cut, since it has VB in it? I use your modular Daedric shrine overhauls though, not this one. Do I still need the patch?
Not for a while, I'm afraid. Each shrine takes several hours, and real life has gotten very busy (work full time, art part time, grad school part time).
If anyone else wants to take the idea and do DSO for TR, they are more than welcome to do so. It's something that I'd love to see implemented as well; I just don't have the time these days.
Look, I wanna like this mod, but there is a BUNCH of floating statics. Like on every shrine I've visited so far. I gotta uninstall, it's just very jarring. Sorry as I love the idea.
Look, if you don't tell me exactly where the floating statics are, it's not like I can fix them. I clearly haven't noticed them yet.
Additionally, leaving comments like this is immensely unhelpful. I'm not perfect; I know there's problems in my mods sometimes somewhere, but saying "hey, there's problems" but not telling me where? Completely useless to me. It's much more helpful to explain the problem, and where the problem IS such that a mod author can look into it. And frankly, I am so burnt out on modding, particularly on this mod especially, that I'm not going to go off on a scavenger hunt to looking for bunches of floating statics that may or may not be from a mod conflict in the first place. You didn't even tell me which shrines you've visited, if the floating statics are in exteriors or interiors, if you installed Doors of Oblivion, or whatever. I have NO information to go off of here.
Sorry that you've caught me in a bit of a bad mood regarding comments; I've been beginning to understand why some modders disable comments entirely and just leave the bug reporting section open.
Glad you like the idea; I hope that the rest of your install goes well.
I'm sorry, you're very right. I'll try to remember which shrines I meant.
I believe there were floating statics at Ramimilk, IIRC it was either the rock spires or the daedric architecture itself in the area in front of the shrine entrance.
There was also another shrine but I forget the location. It might have been in the Grazelands. It had a lot of hanging bodies on the outside and wooden barricades. Some of these barricades were floating. Sorry I can't be more specific at this point anymore.
Again sorry for the tone of my original remark. I appreciate your work, I might have just gotten unlucky running into these issues. I think part of the reason I reacted that way is because I saw so much praise for this mod and going into it with high expectations I was just disappointed that the first Daedric shrines I examined had floating statics. I should have been more considerate, as I understand it is a lot of work!
Thanks for the apology; we're cool. I'm also sorry that I snapped at you there. I do appreciate you letting me know, and I think I know which Shrine you're referring to with the barricades. I'll look into it when I'm able (hopefully soon).
This mod seems to make Ashalmawia disappear almost completely. There are only a couple of pieces of floating and clipping walls and a disconnected door where the shrine should be. Also all the interior cells have no floor, so you instantly fall into the fall when you enter.
Are there patches for other mods in other places for this mod. When I use this mod I get error pop up's for Creatures and Critters, Beautiful Cities, Patch for Purists, Wishmaster and Interesting Outfits (the latter has patches that come for this mod that I'm using)
Edit: Never mind I was dumb and missed Doors of Oblivion
Maelkashishi is acting strange with creatures resetting with each new cell load, missing npcs, and a transparent texture on the shrine room balcony. I am unable to complete Temple: Compassion quest.

Also, do I need the high-res replacement textures for Doors of Oblivion, or will the 1.4 version with its supplements and corrections be enough?
