I finally ended up stumbling into this little quest, and absolutely loved it… Beautiful design (especially if used alongside lighting mods), well-written, and, of course, feels like a natural part of the game.

Just a minor FYI, if you try to bring companions into

. At least, that was my experience. Really not a big deal, though….

I did not test with companions, my guess is they are somehow triggering the ladder script which checks player Z coordinates and puts you up or down based on if you are above or below. I'm going to prod at the script to see if I can fix that.

I'm no mod author, but I guessed something like that was happening, as well. Thank you for looking into it. As I said, it's not a huge issue…

I mean, the place is definitely just big enough for singletons. It's gorgeous, though, so I'll certainly be using it for my solo characters.

    Good day, all.
Damius, thank you for the great mod.
I am confused with the files to download:
    * The BCoM-named archive doesn't display BCoM as requirement (on before-load message) & its ESP has a 'vanilla' bit in it and
    * The non-BCoM-named archive does.
Which version is intended for BCoM? Non-BCoM, I assume...

I built for BCOM first, then made a vanilla one afterwards. You want IndalenWoeBCOM.

Unless i'm misunderstanding badly its only Oblivion and later where an esp can have another esp as a master, so i couldn't add BCOM as a dependency to the mod.

Erm... Nothing that profound, no. =:)
Only this: when I click download BCoM version of this - the system does NOT list BCoM as a requirement.
Non-BCoM version DOES list BCoM as a requirement.
I think it is that the two versions are confused.

"inform downloaders of requirements" was unticked on one but not the other. Fixed now.

That is high praise coming from the best dungeon maker in the modding scene.

Looks lovely. Very quick look in Caldera though and the ladder didn't seem to do anything - just teleported me to the bottom of the ladder, from the bottom of the ladder. Using the vanilla version.

PS: My load order is stuffed full of your mods. Do you think you might go back to some of them and add quest content to them? Ghostmoth, Salothran, St Rilms, Slavers Spire, etc.

I'll have a look at the script, I probably messed a number up somewhere in the height check which shouldn't be terribly hard to fix. Or I could just swap it for stairs. I'll tinker with it and hopefully get an update out vaguely soon.

I've been wanting to do quests for many of my mods, but making them is not my strength. I struggled with Wardkeepers, then I got taught it properly by my teammates while working on Greymarch, and then took a better try at it here so I /might/ be confident enough to go back at some point. Ghostmoth for certain and I know what I want it to be, Salothran maybe, Slavers Spire I really want to remake first with what I know now, St Rilms is a nightmare to work on because of red mountain nearby and the many versions that would need updating, and Wardkeepers I'd like to heavily redo and expand.
