In this mod, I've taken matters into my own hands by surgically removing the most egregious offenders like Flora_tree_wg_01, Flora_tree_wg_03, their equally bothersome cousins (wg_04, wg_05, wg_06, wg_08) and all their insufferable roots.
Are left in the West Gash 81 instances of Flora_tree_wg_02 and 207 instances of Flora_tree_wg_08, which are way less offensive to the eye.
Since I was going into this incredibly tiresome and long process, I did a bit more and by fixing all the terrain coloring (where needed) after the removal of each tree.
So, fear not, purists! I've carefully pruned away the worst offenders while maintaining the essence of the West Gash's rugged beauty. Because nobody wants to completely change Morrowind's iconic scenery.
Note: If you think differently about how bad those specific green trees look, you're just objectively wrong. I'm here to guide you toward the light, the light that shines through a perfectly trimmed West Gash.
III. Installation:
The mod folders are organized as follows:
- 00 - Core files: Contains all the required files.
- 01 - Compatibility version: Contains a version compatible with any other mod that changes landscape in West Gash
IV. Compatibility:
- Should be compatible with everything but if another mod, manually adds a tree in the West Gash, well, it will be there!
V. Installation and Removal:
- Manager: Mod Organizer 2 or Wrye Mash is highly recommended for easy installation, activation, and removal.
- Manual: Extract the contents of the "00 - Core Files" folder to your Morrowind Data.
