About this mod

Ever felt guilty over murdering a lady for the clothes off her back? Ever wished you had a (potentially) reasonable alternative? Now you don't have to; at least in the case of Senise Thindo and the Robe of Drake's Pride. Ask around, and you might find an alternate solution.

What is this mod?
This started as a simple project to get myself back into mod-making after a very long absence. Just a little thing for my own enjoyment. Nothing major. Unfortunately, the more I worked on this project, and the more I looked into things, the more a little story started to emerge that just wouldn't leave me alone.

What began as a relatively minor addition to the Robe of Drake's Pride quest grew into something a little more ambitious despite my best efforts. I kept it from getting too far out of control, but I still ended up with two new quests, a small dungeon, and probably a little too much new dialogue. Hopefully nothing too excessive. I blacked out at some point.

What does this mod do?
This mod adds an alternative to the vanilla course of (necessarily?) killing Senise Thindo for the Robe of Drake's Pride. Thematically, that action is appropriate for House Telvanni, and it's a good way of showing the player - who may not already be a murder hobo - just what they've gotten themselves into, if they haven't already figured that out.
It touches only a few vanilla dialogue topics (and it has been cleaned to Oblivion and back) and doesn't really change the existing Drake's Pride quest at all; it just slips in a side-quest if you meet the requirements as a member of House Telvanni. Otherwise, you may hear a rumor in any of the Telvanni towns about a certain battlemage who needs a mercenary.
This mod also adds a small dungeon to the (8,8) Grazelands, a handful of enchanted items, and a follow-up quest to go with all of it. That quest should come up in conversation with Senise Thindo after you've helped her out.
To be absolutely clear: I did my best to keep this as lore-friendly and close to vanilla in tone and structure as possible, which isn't really difficult to do with Morrowind. I also tried to make this as flexible as possible, and then I tried to break it as much as I could. It's entirely possible that I've still missed something.

Disclaimer
I hate to say "this is my first mod," because strictly speaking it isn't. It is the first mod I've worked on in (checks calendar) over a decade, and the first for Morrowind in (checks calendar again) huh, that number hurts, and I refuse to include it here. Still, I've done my best, and I would welcome any constructive feedback.
If you run into any issues with the mod itself, I'll do my best to address them. I've tested it against my modlist, but everyone has a different setup.
