It should, but I only tested on the base engine. Let me know if you notice anything problematic.

I will test this out. This could be exactly what I needed to figure out how to fix an old mod I've been working on. The old mod was never finished it was by a guy called Marc. It was a vampire mod and had some really cool scripted boss battles. The battle scripts were problematical though. I look forward to playing with this and seeing what I can learn. Thanks for the reply and the mod.

And while you're here. Thanks for the idea of combing shield spells with offensive magic. I tried it out and it works wonders. All these years of frantically casting defense and offense spells.....I'm kicking myself for not seeing the genious of this sooner.

Lol I've never actually tried it as a player in game. I'm usually a combat-leaning type with utility spells, so I spend more time stabbing.

Very useful examples here. I'm not terribly great at designing cool fights but this provides some much needed insight into the concept. Even just adding a shield to a mages standard spell is a small but vital way to prevent the player from simply steamrolling them after just a single spell cast. Never woulda struck me when making these kind of enemies.

Yeah, I really like combining spell effects for casters. Doesn't waste a lot of time and makes them feel competent. Mixing in weird spell effects can affect whether or not they'll choose the spell, though, so I always do a lot of testing.
