DESCRIPTION:

This is my very first mod. It is currently 100% playable, although some changes could still be made to it. This mod randomizes you starting location to one of twelve shipwrecks scattered around Vvardenfell every time you click on "New Game". I also modified the first Journal entry of the game to reflect that. You spawn with the "package for Caius Cosades" in your inventory and should be able to go straight to Balmora to start the main quest.

I only used the shipwrecks present in the vanilla game, I did not add any new shipwrecks to the game. Normally there are 18 shipwrecks in the game but i decided to only use 12 because some of them are very close appart or completely sunk and flooded, making them impractical for starting the game in.

This mod is ideal for anyone looking to do a Permadeath run, as it makes the begining of the game much more challenging !

REQUIREMENTS:

For this mod, you only need Morrowind.esm, no patch or DLCs needed. To install, simply drag and drop ShipWreck-V0.2.ESP  into your morrowind/DataFiles  folder. Don't forget to enable the plugin in the game's launcher !

COMPATIBILITY:

I do not know of any compatibility issues, but there probably is. Feel free to point them out for me !
I tried running this mod with my usual modlist and it worked perfectly.
Of course, it is definitely not compatible with any mods that already alter the start of the game, such as Chargen revamped V.2 although it doesn't cause any compatibility issues, my mod simply seems to override the other one. It is also probably not compatible with any mods that modify the interiors of sunken shipswrecks, such as OAAB Shipwrecks, but that's a given.

Maybe this mod should be cleaned.

Thank you for reading this.
