Hey I installed the mod but the character that's supposed to be in the Ebonheart Chapel is not showing up. He doesn't spawn out of bounds or anything. I have Tamriel_Data and everything. idk what is wrong.
I checked everything I could. The esp is activated, Tamriel Data is installed correctly, I reinstalled the mod several times. Nothing worked. My guess is I have a unknown conflict, but I don't have anything that changes the interiors of where they would be.
Hmmm, possible conflict with BCoM? I've started the highest level quest from Ebonheart and have been asked to speak with a Bosmer in the Black Shalk Cornerclub at Vivec. The Bosmer is nowhere to be found though. I know BCoM makes some changes to interiors, so maybe there's a conflict here. Has anyone had any luck playing through this quest?
I didn't know that BCOM changed anything in the Black Shalk Normally, he's downstairs along the wall in the back room. If he's spawning out of bounds, you could console player->placeatme ic_dagonite 1 1 1 to spawn him by you.
BCoM is just my best guess. Here's what that room looks like for me. I spent quite a while scouring every nook and cranny for a note or something the NPC might have left behind before concluding he probably just conflicted with something and should have been here in person
Really fun quest so far! I'm guessing I'm half way through. I love how much thought you've put into making these quests really fit their locations. And this high level quest certainly feels high stakes!
Finished it! Great quest, and some amazing loot. Really feels rewarding to have reached that rank in the Cult and undertaken such a task.
Only reason it took me so long to complete was because the directions provided by the Maar Gan scouts are off. They point you south west of a certain location, and I eventually found it to the south east
Good to know, I'll fix that. I'm working on a more substantial update for this. The Nord Barbarians outside of the Molag Bal Shrine will help you fight the Daedra instead of attacking you, and you'll be able to peacefully resolve the situation in the Akatosh quest. I want it to reflect the fact that Imperial Cult isn't really a warrior-based faction, and that a lot of characters who join it wouldn't be able to do things like take on a Molag Bal shrine solo.
Only completed one quest so far (Pelagiad) but it was very well done. Interesting little starter quest that fits nicely into other happenings within the area (like the vanilla stolen silver bowl quest) and it makes really good use of Speechcraft and Personality which are key skills/attributes in the faction. Definitely excited to see the others now =)
There is a typo I noticed though - Mebestien has two different spellings from the quest giver, and neither are correct spellings =P
Thanks for letting me know. That's what I get for trying to spell some of these names from memory. I'm gonna come back to this for an update in a little while, I'll fix it when I do that.
No problem! The quest-giver text at Fort Buckmoth needs a quick look at too (I think it was that quest anyway). Just a minor issue with one of the words in her paragraph typed twice in a row. It's from one of the dialogues where you're given the quest and instructions on what to do, but I really should have taken better note of it for you, sorry.
These quests really are fantastic! I've done four now, and really enjoyed all of them They either surprise me with a nice twist, like the Ald'ruhn questline, or have me cracking up like the Balmora one
It would be cool if the knights wore the Knights of Tamriel armors by Jeremy McGuinn. Now, I know there are no armors for Knights of Iron or Knights Mentor, but they could be substituted by something from Tamriel Data.
Where could I find those? I searched on the Nexus and I could only find the one for Stendarr. I'd be open to using them for at least some of the characters if the permissions allow and everything.
Haven't downloaded the mod yet but from what I can see in those images you know very well how to write Morrowind quests, hope to see more from you, loving what I see from your writing! Endorsed!
Thank you! I think the Balmora Temple questline is going to be next, I have an outline written and I'm gonna start implementing it this weekend. It'll be about six quests, only a little longer than Temple questlines in base.
I've done two quests so far - The Balmora one (from Moonmoth) and the Frostmoth one. I enjoyed both immensely and especially the story-teller from Frostmoth. I'm on OpenMW and for this play-through I don't have TOTSP installed. Works perfectly. I'm looking forward to the other quests. These two are very nicely done and they fit in seamlessly.
PS Nothing to do with your mod but some of the Imperial Legion have driven me to distraction with their: 'Where's your uniform?' so I removed black glass armour and donned some other imperial stuff plus a mod to make them recognise that as uniform! So, inadvertently you made me address that issue too! :-D
Yes, 100%, I actually tested it with Tomb of the Snow Prince because I use it and wanted to make sure. The only Solstheim mods that would be incompatible with mine are ones that heavily change the interiors of the Imperial Cult shrine or Lukesturm Barrow. ToTSP only modifies exterior cells.

...but as King Richard IV from the Black Adder would say "Blood! Death! War! Rumpy pumpy! Triumph!"

Also, Ultimate Knight Shop has all the armors: https://www.nexusmods.com/morrowind/mods/998
You're welcome.
