it should but I haven't tested it. Wares mostly affects leveled lists (as far as I know) & my mod does not touch the lists, it just points the game to new meshes/textures. As long as you load this before wares, it should work without problems.
Thank you for confirming this!!! I'm in the middle of a new build-out for my next playthrough (Wares included!) but I'm not at a point were I can test it yet. I just released another mod that changes the tiny piles of dust to little bottles if you use Tamriel_Data and OAAB_Data. The modder Danae made a great suggestion to me recently so I'm working on a mod specific to The Art of Alchemy that uses all the little bottles from the new mod but will add unique(ish) models & textures for many of the other powders, minced meats, etc that lack anything specific.
I'm using little bottles of dust, too! Really looking forward to you doing the stuff from Art of Alchemy. Do you have plans to tackle the the potions and alchol too?
I do plan to do the potion bottles! I use AOF's potion bottles & want to, at the very least, make each effect type a different color. AOF's permissions might be an issue though. If I can't get permission, there is a another modder who's already done the heavy lifting of pointing the game at new meshes/textures for the potions. I'll use that as a base & redo all their textures and tweak meshes as-needed.
As for the alcohol, I'm getting ready to release a mod adding new, but lore-friendly, alcohols to the game. It will include an unique color for the Vintage Brandy. I may also include my mesh/texture for the ancient Dagoth brandy, and maybe my updates to the hulking fabricant / verminous fabricant bottles. I'm on a personal quest to make all the unique objects actually unique for my next playthrough so I've been cobbling together all the "uniques" mods into one big one & then filling in the blanks. It's so encouraging to hear I'm not the only player who thinks the alcohol & potions need some improvements.
I just want to say, thank you for asking this! This author seems pretty awesome at answering questions, but it's always nice when somebody else has already done the legwork.
These look beautiful, and I can't wait to see them ingame!
EDIT And.. it works! They're gorgeous! Just an FYI, this esp needs to load below Alchemy Essentials for Wares, otherwise you just end up with a muddy-looking pitcher. I realise this may seem obvious, but, in my setup, at least... Wrye Mash and Mlox seem to want it directly after Patch for Purists, for some reason (and yes, I'm using the most up-to-date version of Mlox).
