walking around gnisis with the orc guards i got an error "MP3 Voice file not found: data files\sound\Vo\VDQuest\Orcdaedra4.mp3 Sound file not found: data files\sound\Vo\VDQuest\Orcdaedra4.wav" and im pretty sure its from this mod - would it fix it if i just duplicated one of the orcwarn files and renamed it as a stand-in?

Very immersive, very Gothic 1, love it. Threatened guards do follow me through doors which may or may not be intended behavior but probably would allow me to empty all shops and vaults of Guards pretty easily...
it's great until the guards arrest you when you're trying to kill a cliff racer. I'd prefer a version of this mod where the guards just nag you and not arrest you for better immersion.
If they see the cliff racer within the time limit it's fine. Then again, Morrowind enemy detection...
I kinda agree with you and looked at the code for a hack saw solution (no expert here). If you go to main.lua and search for the line: myTimer[ref] = timer.start { duration = 5, callback = function() ...you can replace 5 (seconds) with a really high number so you effectively never get attacked, only followed by guards with their weapons drawn. Walking through Balmora with your spear out will make you feel like the Pig Catcher of Hamelin.

A blacklisted cells function would be cool, even if probably unnecessary: the only time I had to turn the mod off in my latest playthrough was during the duel with Karrod quest. Excellent mod, as always
Not sure if this is a mod confliction or not, but I tried whitelisting a cell and the guards would still get mad at me for a drawn weapon. I have a lot of mods so it might be another mod is making the whitelist not work, but I just wanted to report this just incase anyone else has this problem as well.
Ah ok, it would still be broken then cause guards don't like me wielding weapons anywhere. The save I have right now is kinda wonky so it might be that, but I just wanted to share this bug just incase I wasn't the only one seeing it.
Ahhhh ok that makes sense thanks. I think some places could be removed from the list like combat training areas but I'm glad I know how it works now at least haha.
I'm not sure if this is happening to anyone else but guards follow me everywhere (sometimes) after they tell me to put my weapon away. They basically become OP companions.
Need the same mod for sneaking. ( i know about More attentive guards but is not that) and the same option as for guards but only for other combat classes (warrior, barbarian etc.)
