Just to say thank you so very much for this mod. The rings are absolutely beautiful and I very much enjoyed the quest to get them. I couldn't decide which I wanted so bought them all! It is a wonderful addition to my game. Endorsed enthusiastically!
I see the LL version has been uploaded, I will use that instead of the main .esp and report back later if I encounter any issues, though I don't suspect I will, thanks!
Oh I would absolutely LOVE this mod if it placed the rings throughout the world. As it is I'm not a huge fan of mods that just add a merchant with a bunch of things- but I would adore it if I could find these all throughout Vvardenfell. I understand doing it like this for compatability, but making an alt version where they're distributed, or making it so they're both distributed and available for sale with this merchant would be great.
a few of these are weak enough to go into magical items leveled lists so that occasional bandits would have them alongside vanilla magical items, but high tier rings like favor and protection would be better suited to be given placement somewhere in a dangerous dungeon as an artifact.
edit: Looking through, almost all of them are overpowered as random loot rings. But if they were distributed across vvardenfell (or perhaps even TR) in dungeons, they'd make for fantastic artifacts.
Uploaded a version with the unenchanted rings added to levelled lists. It seems to work, but levelled lists are new to me. If it works alright I'll roll it into the main file.
I think the magical ones are too powerful to be random loot. As for distribution, that just makes compatibility harder. That was the whole point of the new interior and merchant.
I agree that the merchant resolves compatability issues- to me, the ideal would be both to have the merchant who you can buy it from, and a distribution for adventurers to find. A good place to put them would be on altars of daedric shrines- those are rarely significantly altered by mods.
