Have you considered creating a "Interesting Outfits Module" similar to the BCOM Plus modules? Downloading all of the mods in one go, and perhaps even a merged esp would make the installation process smoother and more appealing to larger modlists as well. I can help you with this if you want.
Hey, love this series, they all look so cool! I just never was able to install them (Launcher: OpenMW 0.47 - Modding via MO2 - LevelledList by DeltaPlugin). In all instances the NPCs have the new faces like in the screenshots, but no new gear. None of them.
The IO mods are loaded as the LAST file in my order (which includes TR and Wares Ultimate), only followed by the merged DeltaPlugin for level lists. Has anyone fought with the same problem?
Wonderful work, and I echo DetailDevil's sentiment that a compiled all-in-one esp would be ideal.
My only very minor gripe with this collection is those two helmets in the final screenshot, the variants that cover the eyes, everything else to me looks as if it could be within vanilla morrowind aside from those helmets. Most minor of nitpicks however. Thankyou for this.
The two guar hide helmets? I'll have a think about it. In the latest update you'll only find them on Kummu and Hairan in the Erabenimsun camp, besides some rogue ashlanders. I still feel it fits the Erabenimsun's warlike character to have these more 'fierce' looking masks.
Hmm. While I like the look applying these pieces to ashlanders gives them, I think you may have displaced chitin armored ashlanders a little too much. Ashlanders in full chitin is classic and there's almost no chitin among them at all now, at least when you wander through their camps.
I agree with you on the lack of chitin. I've given more pieces to Hunters and Scouts outside their tents, including the iconic helmets. Only two "common" ashlanders in the camps wear Alit pieces - Zaba and Assaba-Bentus, because of their higher ranks. Gulakhans and Ashkhans are unchanged except for Ashu-Ahhe who now wears an open chitin helm. There's still lots of chitin on rogue ashlanders out in the field, mind you.
I am assuming that there's no much sense in using your Interesting Outfits mods and Vanilla Friendly Wearables Expansion together, right? They basically do the same thing and probably overlap each other.
Vanilla Friendly Wearables actually incorporates an earlier version of my IO mods from last year. Its up to you if you'd rarher have the newer version of my mod or the other one. I'm not sure if Vanilla Friendly Wearables includes Ashlanders, but it should be compatible using Merged Objects.
I personally run both, with IO lower in the load order to take precedence. There's a lot of npcs that Vanilla friendly covers with lots of little bits and pieces that IO doesn't, plus Vanilla friendly merges a lot of small equipment mods here and there from the years, including unique finery replacer, which is a personal favorite of mine. In most instances I like the loadouts IO runs with better when there is a conflict, but I enjoy them both together.
