I'm looking into making a major update to this now that I'll be on summer break. If anyone has ideas for it or other mods they'd like patched or included, feel free to tell me about them :)
Mod isn't fully compatible with the latest BCOM. Mostly minor issues here: -Ald-Skar Inn front door is misplaced and cell transiton takes you out-of-bounds. -Mage's Guild building is not using the correct visual changes from 'BCOM_Stavs_MGO.ESP' (fixed by loading it after 'BCOM Plus - Ald'Ruhn Expansion.ESP')
Parts can be included (keep compatibility with BCOM) - if we after all talk about major update:
- Ald'ruhn - Seat of power of House Redoran : there are many aspect which worth to include - Cozy Ald'ruhn : just the Nerevarine shrine and the stairs - Ald-ruhn X : a few buildings/ interior cells can be included (Apothecary, Enchanter, +cave dwellings) - https://www.nexusmods.com/morrowind/mods/43817 : something similar at the left side + probably some statues
Extras/ new: - Some Ashlander flavor, like a yurt or campfire with Ashlanders + a merchant from them. - New building (cc. Redoran type fort) dedicated to the combined efforts against blight/ blighted creatures: Like Redoran + Temple + Arminger who both fight against those + heal diseased + give missions. Actually this is an old concept of mine where Ald'ruhn just a part of it. The best would be as an optional addon plugin. -> PM
Love this mod. Has a permanent place in my modlist now, though am still working out some patches for it. I have noticed that the Ald Skar Inn entrance marker is incorrect. It's placed way above the door in the empty space above the actual room. It just needs to be moved down to where the entrance is.
For players->You just need to tcl through into the actual play area until a fix is made if you don't want to make the fix yourself.
Love the mod! Quick question: Is your Animated Morrowind - merged.esp the same as from abot's site or is your unique? I'm asking cuz other mods tend to make their own replacer too and does that mean i have to merge my AM-merged.esp with yours to make sure they work? Because i assume that if i just replace it some other mod that needs its own version will stop working.
Every time I exit the game, this mods plugin automatically gets disabled/unchecked in my load order. Any idea what would cause that? Only this plugin does that. None of my other plugins have that happen at all. Using MO2 for my mod manager. Not sure if that would help identify the cause or not.
I'm having this issue too, also with MO2. Super weird.
P.S. I LOVE this mod. It's got a permanent place in my load order, no matter how many times it unchecks itself. :P Thank you so much for taking the time to make the best Redoran city overhaul one-stop-shop!
Let me know how you fixed it if you managed to. I personally use a heavily modified older version of BCOM in my modlist, so there might be some things I messed up with the latest version.
I love this mod!!, this to me makes Ald'Ruhn Perfect. but i was wondering one thing would it be possible to add lights to Skar, like Lights Ald-Ruhn (https://www.nexusmods.com/morrowind/mods/49063)?

Should be a lot better overall when it's done.
It's placed at the nothern-westernmost corner or the city, near Skar, but clashes with a couple of homes there.
