    I don't know why and it was a simple fix of spawning in or adding it in Construction Set (vd_p_detect_creatures_s), but sometimes Skinks-in-trees-shade doesn't give out the correct potion for the Flea extermination. He just gives a normal Detect Creature potion, rather than the specifically named Skink's Potion of Detection. Seems to work fine if I go directly to Aldruhn and do the quest, but not when I take my time getting there.

    Hey there. I've got to say I like those new things added to spice up the Mages Guild a bit, though I've noticed minor thing.

    First quest that Skink gives to the player requires one to escort the high elf lady and while the encounter with thugs is really nice, finish of said quest breaks the TR part that she can give afterwards. It's minor thing, she wants the player to deliver a letter to someone in Firewatch (I think) and that dialog and quest do not appear.

    Any chance to make those things compatible?

      So if the tr edit is loaded second, it will fire if you avoid the thugs. 

      Kinda gives extra reason to be more stealthy in your escape!

      So... I tried to do both options (running into thugs and avoiding them), tried using console to addtopic "message to Balvira Auctoria", nothing works for me. She refuses to mention the intro quest to Firewatch. I'd rather not mess around with the load order as TR is esm and not esp and I am already quite a bit into the playthrough. It's a shame really for me as it's either TR intro or the nice quest sequence from your mod.

      Gonna second Magical Missions breaking the TR Firewatch intro quest. It's not a dealbreaker, just a little bothersome.

      If you type the following into the console, you should be able to unlock the quest:
      AddTopic "message to Banvira Auctoria"
      AddTopic "Firewatch"

      Making a patch should be simple - I can add the text into my quest endings without needing to actually add a TR dependancy. 

      Edit - fixed in new version.

    Do I miss something in the break-in quest? Ordinators talk about full glass set of armor stolen and while I can recover most of it, I can't find the bracers. Are they there or just missing?

      Wondering this as well, though I cant seem to progress it beyond "sour smell", as nobody seems to add further info on what to do.
      I could break-in myself and see if they don't murder me for going past the locked gate, but that feels like a death sentence lol

    How is Itermeel's Notes supposed to go after escorting him to the Half Way Tavern in Pelegiad?  He asks if I want to help him with his research, but there is no tag to click to get more dialogue from him.

    Looking at the plugin in enchanted editor it looks like the topic is supposed to be "assist me in my research" but it's not highlighted in blue and there is no such topic in his list to click on.  I can't seem to use the console command AddTopic, "assist me in my research" to add the topic to his list either.

      Tested and can't replicate on my side. Try adding 'Hrordis' as a topic to continue.

      I'm the one who contacted you on discord, but just confirming for any others that might run into this that AddTopic Hrordis does indeed work with getting this quest to work properly.

      been playing the mod, and I'm actually having this exact same issue.  The journal updates upon arriving, and he has the new dialogue, but assist me in my research is unhighlighted and has no topic.  Addtopic Hrordis does in fact work.  Perhaps as insurance, the dialogue itself could be made to add 'assist me in my research' as a topic?

      EDIT:  I discovered the issue- the assist me in my research topic was locked behind the mg_escortscholar1 quest, not the mg_escortscholar2 quest.  the journal conditional is pointing towards the wrong quest- it's looking for progress with Tenyeminwe's escort, not Itermerel's escort.  I edited the dialogue appropriately on my own install and it works now.

    Big report of minor dialogue issues I noticed incoming:

    I'm not really sure if this was intended behavior of the mod or not, but Beldrose Dralor, treasurer of House Redoran, has his dialogue altered by the mod.  Originally asking about his trade made him say 'I'm the treasurer of House Redoran. I'm very busy. So, if you'll just let me get back to work...'

    Now, however, he just gives a generic spiel about being a redoran noble.  I took a peek in with tes3view, and it looks like Arathel's dialogue about being a slave is overwriting this dialogue entirely, with no replacement.  It's not a huge loss, but I just wanted to make note of it to you.

    On a similar note of replacement:
    I noticed Trebonius had dialogue that was overwritten by some of Tarancur's as well, though in this instance this dialogue had a copy of the original version so his lines in game were preserved.  It might be worth undoing this and making Tarancur's dialogue a new line, to help ensure compatability with other mods.  Similarly, Edwinna's lines about seeking about the potion of detect creature were doubled and then overwritten by lines from the scamp in maar gan.  Under the Stolen Reports topic, Tarancur has lines that once again replace a vanilla dialogue line which is then given a new entry.  The Unsanctioned Training topic has two dialogue lines that this issue occurs with as well.  These are all easy enough to see with CSSE and showing modified lines only- the clones of the original dialogue lines will be highlighted, and their info ID's are different as well.

    These issues are harmless on their own, but could create unexpected complications when it comes to compatability with other mods.

    There are also Patch For Purist changes that would be helpful to carry forward onto dialogue about Tashpi within the necromancy topic.  in PFP, talking to tashpi and the citizens of maar gan about necromancy is blocked behind being in the mage's guild.  This will help make sure that the necromancy topic remains compatability proof; if you had the topic without the quest from a mod or another quest, speaking with people in maar gan about necromancy will, to the player, have them inexplicably start talking about Tashpi.  This isn't a huge problem, as it was like that in vanilla, but the patch for purist alteration preserves a bit of logical consistency- if the player had never received the mage's guild quest, it's bizarre to have everyone in town respond to asking about necromancy as if you had just accused her.  Additional Patch for purist changes that could be carried over:  Some of the conditions for Listien Bierles greeting 1 asking you if his problems with the scamp are really over, the temple faction requirements for Feldrelo Sadri's line that goes 'I do not have any duties for you. Perhaps you could speak with Endryn Llethan in Ald'ruhn or Tharer Rotheloth in Molag Mar.'  (the mod doesn't actually edit this line's contents, but because it moved it around on the scale of importance, the edits in PFP no longer carry forward.)  Patch For Purists also adds compatability-proofing conditionals to a few lines in the Telvanni Spy topic, to make sure you've been sent down that proper line of thinking before you start being able to ask people in the guild about Ranis' supposed spies.  It also adds a conditional to one of the bet with galbedir lines, but I'm not quite sure what it does.

    These really don't do much damage on their own, essentially just reverting PFP's changes to vanilla.  It'd just be nice if they were consistent with PFP.

    Cool mod!  I've been diving into it, and I really love the dynamic the rival adds.  I'm almost done with it, and when I can I'll give it a playthrough with julan and strider's nest going to be absolutely sure nothing it does throws off their party dialogue.
