Great mod. Thanks for taking the time to make and share it. Was using the 1.0. I already did but is it safe to update mid game? Did get a warning but seems good and they stack so i'm good?
Well the usual you turned a mod off warning when loading the save. Saw it in the openmw logging too. The name of the esp is the same and I replaced it with the new one. Put it back in the same place in the load order and it's on. Openmw is new to me so it's probably more sensitive in the hey this esp is changed.
It's probably fine. Thanks for taking the time to update and improve it. If I see any issues I'll let you know.
"...If a Morrowind item has a script attached to it, then multiple copies will not stack together like regular items. The generic Ash Statue item has a script attached to it. This mod removes that script, thus allowing the statues to stack like normal items.
[The Ash Statue script adds the topic “ash statue” to your journal. Again, WAIT until you have already found an Ash Statue before installing this mod. If you install this mod before you get the topic, you may not be able to get the topic at all. This might mess up some quests..."
I'm just curious how did you manage to make your mod not to mess up certain quests and it successfully adds the "ash statue" topic to the dialogue for sure, despite the ash statues are stackable now and you claim that your mod
"...can be installed at any point in the game, unlike the aforementioned mod..."
, even BEFORE we get the "ash statue" topic according to certain quests?
Easy, adding a startscript. Check it when the player has a statue in their inventory, when he do, the journal entry "ash statue" is added, and the script ends.
