Welcome to the Morrowind Script Editor, version 1.2

Morrowind Script Editor (MWSE) is a utility to assist in writing scripts for The Elder Scrolls�: Morrowind.

For more information, see "MWSE.chm" (enclosed help file).
MWSE allows you to open and edit multiple Morrowind scripts from existing plugin (*.esp) or master (*.esm) files.
You can also create new scripts, or just play around to learn the language.
MWSE was designed to so that beginner scripters could easily get started, but advanced scripters will also
enjoy features not available in the "text editor" provided in The Elder Scrolls Construction Set (TESCS),
like color-coded keywords, intellisense, and function-level help that tells you what parameters are required.
MWSE is built on Microsoft.NET (framework 1.0 required), and supports Tribunal and Bloodmoon (not required).

To install, you will need the 1.0 .NET Framework (available from Microsoft):
http://download.microsoft.com/download/.netframesdk/Redist/1.0/W98NT42KMeXP/EN-US/dotnetredist.exe
Then just unzip these files in a local directory of your choice. Anywhere. Just remember where.
Morrowind does *not* need to be installed, or even available, for MWSE to work.
But it will help to have a few plugin files available to peruse :)
