About this mod

Adds a gondola near Seyda Neen you can sail around with. Works in both Vanilla and OpenMW.

Adds a gondola near Seyda Neen you can sail around with. Works in both Vanilla and OpenMW.

To use it, just activate it.
If you want to get off, either activate it again or jump off.

If you don't want a free boat and want to instead have to purchase one, there is an optional version of the mod that uses Shipyards of Vvardenfell. The SoV version also lets you re-purchase gondolas if you lose them or just want to make a bridge out of them or something. When you buy another, the old one does not get disabled, but there is now an option to destroy them.

If you beach it, just activate it (from an elevation higher than 0.0) facing the direction you want to push it in and select Push Away

and it will be moved away



Usage Instructions:
  • If you move too fast, you might fall off. If that happens, just activate it again to hop back in. Walking is best, but sometimes you can run with impunity.
  • it is best to activate the gondola while standing still. If moving too quickly, sometimes you will hop into the boat and then run right out.
  • If you activate it from elevation 0.0 or below, you will just hop into the ship.
  • Since player animations cannot be changed with Vanilla scripts, it is best enjoyed in first person.
  • The gondola has no collision in Vanilla/MWSE but does in OpenMW.
  • If you want to pass time on the gondola, you will need to move to a part of the boat with higher elevation that the water level. If you try to rest at water level, you will get the warning "You can only rest on solid ground". The bow and stern are good spots for passing time.
  • Don't forget where you left it.
