To those wanting to easily add love for all equally, just open the mod with openmw-cs (should work even for vanilla esps, just change the name back to .esp). Open the world objects (npcs are objects) and sort by modified. Find the npc you want to change and change their gender. You could change their clothes but once they are a companion you can make them wear whatever you want.
"Because there are no homosexuals in Morrowind ..." Sir/Ms. Troll, u ever heard of Crassius Curio? Curio's famous book ('The Lusty Argonian Maid') seems to be about an obtrusive man and an argonian maid, but the way Crassius Curio is talking to the PC and what he says, always made the impression, that Curio is homo- or bisexual. And even if he is not, how could a Troll know, which sexualities all NPCs of the game may have?
"... and the author isn't forced to bend over for your fetishes, probably." JadedRyu's question wasn't about a fetish, it was about homosexuality. Either Sir/Ms. Troll misunderstood the question, or Sir Troll described homosexuality falsely as a 'fetish'. In both cases, Sir/Ms. Troll doesn't give a smart impression here.
Baron's Partners 3.0 is a modified version of the original Partners mod that includes a number of fixed and new features including the ability to have homosexual relationships. http://mw.modhistory.com/download-68-10769
Well, I only just saw your question, which is now eight months after you posted it; however, if you're still watching this thread for a reply, here's an answer.
You'll see 01 January 1970 as the Original upload date for many older mods on this site.
In all likelihood, when first uploaded, there was no (valid) date available. Consequently, this probably defaulted to the start of the epoch (see Epoch (computing) for more about that).
One of the most common epochs starts on 1st January, 1970 (see the table under Notable epoch dates in computing which is further down the page linked to in the last paragraph).
If you're not dying from terminal, technobabble-induced boredom already, you can follow the January 1, 1970 link in that table to even more information.
I expect, sometime in the last decade or so, that bug was fixed and the current date is now used automatically.
There seems to be a newer version on planetelderscroll, however the site seems to be down and not sure if it'll come back online since the last update on that website seems to be in 2012.
My guess is unless some kind person upload the newer version on some file upload website, we just have to make do with this version.
Thank you shalani! It's a great mod. But how can I cure my followers if the contact a disease? They don't seem to use the potions and spell scrolls I give them.
I was just watching Danae123's Morrowind playthrough on Youtube. She was using this mod, recruited a companion named Mara in Seyda Neen, and when they left town Mara suddenly keeled over dead for no apparent reason. It was terrible and hilarious at the same time.
this mod is truly ground breaking, making friends and people who are willing to fight side by side with you and you can have as many as you want follow you =, hell you can even equip with advanced armour and weapons

Or surprise, read the 36 sermons of Vivec. I think the Daedra Lords have dabbled in it too in lore, but the specifics escape me there.
