Great idea! I'm noticing all of the audio files in this mod conflict with "Quest Voice Greetings", with only the plugin not conflicting. Is this mod built into Quest Voice Greetings already or does this mod need to overwrite? In any case, love your work. Keep it up!
Grand and intoxicating, but should take NPC's disposition towards you into account. The shift from "go back to where you came from" to "this is a wondrous encounter" just because you've put down your weapon is a bit too extreme. If someone likes you, they should not be threatened.
Good mod but it would be nice to have version just with voice warnings without any fines. Current version feels inconsistent with mods that adding guards like YAGD. As I understand you can be fined only by dunmer male guard, dunmer female guard and imperial male guard. Fines-less version will add new voiced dialogs and won't introduce any inconsistency with other mods.
Could exceptions be made for followers - and people in the same faction? And perhaps even when disposition is over a certain amount?
I use "supreme followers" and sometimes might recruit guards to work for me temporarily - it is a bit odd to them have them reprimand me for having a weapon out!
I think I could make it work for followers, but I'm not sure if that approach would be viable for people of the same faction. I'll consider creating an update in the far future.
Nice mod....just when i'm about to start to play morrowind but in french (i need to improve my french), it will be weird to hear them speaking in english tho.
Good mod! Works perfectly in OpenMW. I just think that 1000 bounty is too much. When I attack the guards directly, they don't give me that amount of bounty. I think it is not reasonable that for just having the weapon in your hand you receive thath bounty. It is my humble opinion.
The reason for the high bounty is that the guards actually try and stop you. If you don't set the bounty high enough, they will fine you but not "forcegreet" you. I might change that in the future.
Sure this is quite easy to adjust. What amount would you deem appropriate? I'll probably adjust this in the future anyway. CS: Gameplay -> Dialogue -> Voice -> Hello -> "You foreigners have to learn the hard way" => Resultbox : "SetPCCrimelevel 200"
How do you actually get fined in this mod, in OpenMW? The guards will warn me when I approach them with weapon drawn, but then they'll just stare blankly at me and wander off.
Django's mod works correctly with my setup.
Am I testing this wrong? Looking at the video, it may be that something else triggers fining, compared to Django's mod, but it's not clear what.
Or does fining only work in OpenMW 0.49 (development build)? It's not stated in the description.
Getting warned three times by guards will get you fined. Whenever you sheathe your weapon the counter will be set to zero again. Talking to three different guards will definitely trigger it but also going away and coming back would work.

I LOVE THIS MOD, but I'm also a bard, so when I equip my lute, everyone now hates me and I can't play songs when I'm around people xC
I don't want to choose between these two awesome mods TuT
