About this mod
Mod that adds dialogues to some NPCs in Balmora for a better immersion. Something similar to an LGNPC mod but created using ChatGPT (while aiming to avoid the appearance of being made with ChatGPT).

This release includes a background for all the main merchants, publicans, Fighter's Guild members, and a few other random characters that haven't been covered by any LGNPC mod or the Less Generic Nerevarine mod. My intention is to keep updating this mod in the future so that all the characters have their own background, but for now, since I'm working on other areas of Morrowind adding dialogues, I believe it has enough content to release a first version.
A list of NPCs currently covered by the mod (15) can be read below:
- Alvis Teri
- Astius Hanotepelus
- Bacola Closcius (Thieves Guild members only)
- Benunius Agrudilius
- Clagius Clanler
- Dralasa Nithryon
- Drarayne Thelas
- Dulnea Ralaal
- Fasile Charascel
- Flaenia Amiulusus
- Meldor
- Milie Hastien
- Ra'Virr
- Thorek
- Wayn
It also includes unpleasant responses from NPCs that I believe wouldn't spill their life story to the Nerevarine, such as Camonna Tong members and Eydis Fire Eye.
NOTE: I have included some minor references to lore related to mods like Project Tamriel and Tamriel Rebuilt
I want to begin by expressing my admiration for the LGNPC mods. However, since these mods don't cover all cities, such as Balmora, Dagon Fel or all the NPCS of the Zainab Camp, the places not included in the LGNPC mods feel less vibrant compared to those with added text. So, I have decided to create a mod that adds stories to some NPCs in Balmora.
The mod is fully playable, but is only compatible with OpenMW. I create mods using the Content Editor because accessing the Construction Set is not easily available for my system. However, I include the raw text files along with the mod so that anyone who wishes to use them and reupload them as a vanilla-compatible mod is free to do so.
If you like the mods, please let me know. I intend to keep uploading mods of this style, and it would help to hear the opinions of those who use them. Any constructive criticism is welcome. If you find any errors in the Lore or grammar of the texts, please let me know as well. I am not a native English speaker, and although I review the texts, there may be errors.
I have taken extensive measures to ensure compatibility with other mods. All conversations start with the new dialogue prompt "Who are you?" to initiate the dialogue, ensuring that no original dialogues are overwritten. Therefore, the new dialogues should not disrupt any other dialogue added by another mod. While it may not be the most elegant solution, I believe it is the most practical approach that works effectively.
