Any way to cheat past this? It was included in a modpack and I did not do my due save diligence before getting in the portal and doing the challenge on gamepad is tricky 😭

    Edit:

I completed it but still leaving the question up in case there's people who aren't able to do it normally for whatever reasons.

IMPORTANT EDIT: This quest completely broke my game's ability to save if completed. Every attempt just crashes OpenMW, though saving before the quest is done in the Last Leap realm still works

The best way to cheat through the mod would be using tgm and tcl.

As for the second thing, it saves just fine for me both during and after the quest on my OpenMW install. What modlist are you using?

Path of the Incarnate, which is currently in the middle of being updated to a new release with new additions.

Also I'm playing through the native flatpak version of OpenMW on my Steam Deck

I'll look into the modpack. If I can't recreate the issue on my install, I'm probably not going to look into the steamdeck version, though.

I assume this is incompatible with any Balmora Mages Guild overhaul?

The mod just adds an npc to the chapel area, to the right when you go down into the big lower room. It's possible that the NPC would overlap with something, but not guaranteed.

Very fun quest. Honestly surprised that you pulled of a good platforming puzzle in Bethedas engine. Plus the hat you get makes the slow movement or morrowind much more manageable

There was a lot of trial-and-error testing involved. I'm thankful that it worked out!

Very fun little mod! Imaginative, challanging and well written. It's a simple, silly premise but the way you wrote the dialog made me really invested - I kept trying even when it got frustrating because I felt bad reloading and leaving the poor guy there lol

This was one of my favorite mods for ModJam! I love these sort of light-hearted quest mods with clever scripting. Excellent job in the short time frame! Definitely a memorable one for me.

Thanks, that means a lot! I'm glad the obsessive iterating and testing paid off lol.

This is great! It was a amazing challenge and i love the way you write, ngl it was hard but i felt very accomplished after completing it :D
Didn't notice any bugs at all btw, i finished it in the more peaceful way so i can confirm that nothing on this end is buggy :)

Thanks so much! The goal was for it to be tough but rewarding, so I'm glad it struck the right balance for you.
