Abot, I dont know what I would do without your awesome mods!
This mod has helped me finally tune down my ultra messy 10+ years old music list that I carry around for the past decade and a half as I keep dumping mp3s in my music folder without regard to anything, and sometimes, over the years, I discover that some songs I dont ever ever want to hear again.
But with this little wonder I am finally pruning and sorting out my list by finding those songs that annoy me super quick!
The best part is I was a bit worried about the windows part as I play on Linux but emulate a windows environment and can report the script works without issues under a Wine bottle :)
You are the best my friend!
Keep making and improving mods Abot! They are super great!
Essential when adding custom music. Would be even more awesome if it could optionally display track titles in message boxes automatically on track change. Having to go to Mod Config and clicking on "Update" is a bit cumbersome (that's Escape press + 3 clicks).
Works, amazing! The only issue is that "Log Tracks" option is not saved after you close the game. Also, when you die and the last save is automatically loaded (there's a mod for that) the popup shows different track if you have music for currently loaded region (customizable with MUSE 2). But that's a very minor and exotic issue because it will happen only when using region-specific music and autoload mod. On a regular save load it shows the correct track.
Configuration saving should be fixed in latest version. Music file paths longer than 260 characters are not working with available MWSE-Lua function, so in case you are using longer/heavily nested music file paths that's not fixable currently.
THANK YOU! i've been troubleshooting my MUSE playlists for a while now with little luck. Since i have the same songs set for multiple regions, the file path shown with this mod makes troubleshooting so much easier. i've been waiting for this kind of feature to be added to MUSE, but this works just fine!
I think I never uploaded this to Nexus. There are a couple new options to open the .mp3 folder and copy to Windows clipboard the current .mp3 file path, mostly if you want to open the .mp3 with a non-default tool e.g. I have a player as default .mp3 app, I use the new open folder+copy path to easily process the .mp3 with MP3Gain
