if you are on OpenMW, did you activate the omwscripts file? Did you verify you have a newer development build? Did the NPCs in the house go away after you bought it?
I'm on OpenMW development 35f547ad7c (several old days build, i believe). I did activate the script file, yeah. The NPC's themselves were removed after i bought the house, but nothing changed after i spoke to the Hlaalu councilwoman to clear out the furniture. Waited one day to see if the passing of time had any effect, but sadly not.
edit: Where should Manor.esp be located relative to the BCOM .esp files? I have it before.
Great mod! Just a "technical" question (I'm too much of a lazy bum to check it myself in Construction Set...) - after purchase and getting rid of the furniture, does the vanilla manor cell is swapped with the new one? Or is it still the vanilla one, just without all the clutter?
Thanks for an answer. I asked because I have placed a crate from your other great mod, Furniture Catalogue, before clearing the furniture and it also disappeared.
The script moves all objects except doors and hlaalu tileset. If you want to recover your crate, simply tcl and you should be able to find them somewhere in the cell.
Yeah, I fave tcl-ed already after your first answer, but not for the crates - they are 12 gold per piece, so no great loss here. Just wanted to see if the furniture were really "moved" and yes - they are silently levitating in the void outside the house. What bugs me, wouldn't it be more efficient to "destroy" or "hide" the furniture - don't know if CS has such option, never played with it (only with the Oblivion one).
I want people to be able to easily recover things that are not meant to be removed. So no disable, no delete. Are you saying the crate disappeared when the furniture was removed? Maybe there's a bug then.
Oh no, you misunderstood - the crate was there, moved with all other furniture. And I get why you want the furniture to be moved and not deleted - that reason makes a perfect sense. Thanks for all your answers and, most of all, for the mod.
After buying the manor, clearing the furniture and buying a bed from the Furniture Catalogue mod, I can't rest in it, as the Rest button is grayed out and the tooltip says it's illegal to rest here.
Thanks! For anyone who has already visited the place and doesn't want to start a new game, you can edit your save in Enchanted Editor, just untick 6th flag in "Balmora, Hlaalo Manor" cell.
