Version 2.0 More like a total redo including Corean hair and a better selection of hair models.
Anyone using the replacer, let me know if the appearance of an NPC is just not good, I'll change it with the next version. For now, I just made sure hair/eyebrows match, tried to keep the more magical faces for mages, & included some elderly.
If you use the optional replacer addon, it will conflict with Better Heads since it also replaces the hair and heads of npc.
If you want Westly's options in the chargen but npcs with better heads, onlt select the esm from this mod. If you want better heads in the chargen but npc with Westly's heads, load the optional replacer from this mods, make sure it is loaded after Better heads.
This mods does nothing with clothes, so no isse there at all. Should work on OpenMW, this mods has no scripts, lua or anything out of the ordinary :)
Thanks for this, it makes things nice and convenient! Also, in case anyone has the question, from what I've observed so far, it appears to work nicely with Robert's Bodies Expanded.
Because of the unclear description, I didn't realize the requirements for the plugin: BB which version is best suited and in what form (plugin / pluginless)?. Without the pluginless (https://www.nexusmods.com/morrowind/mods/48005) "Better Bodies and Westly's Pluginless Replacer" I couldn't get your plugin to work (I'm using OpenMW). But with BB in any form all hairstyles float a couple of centimeters above the head. What am I doing wrong? For example, Improved Better Heads (https://www.nexusmods.com/morrowind/mods/49185) does not have such problems, but there hairstyles do not look very good.
P.s.: Your plugin is not very compatible with Morrowind Rebirth.esp and/or Morrowind Patch Project v1.6.6 [For Rebirth].esm. One of them raises hairstyles. It's a pity.
P.s.: All New Faces v1 by tanjo is very good (with the exception of the unclear-textured Redguard). And it works with OpenMW and Rebirth without any complaints. And the hairstyles, although in the style of old Morowind, are created with amazing ingenuity (unlike Improved Better Heads https://www.nexusmods.com/morrowind/mods/49185). But this plugin only covers Morrowind and faces are often repeated in it.
You don't need anything other than what's in the archive. The hair and faces come from various packs from Westly, primarily the master headpack, but all you need is in this mods only.
EDIT: I see what may have led to confusion "optimised textures" does not mean they are upscaled, simply that the file size is smaller.
I have never felt dumber in my life than I do trying to install this mod. I have the files in the data folder. I have tes3merge. I have mlox. The mod is not working, and I have absolutely no idea what to do from here.
The 00 Core folder gives you many hair and faces to choose from. As such it does nothing in your game after chargen Install 01 Replacer if you want npcs to use these hair and heads as well, this is where using tes3merge is needed
You need to install at least the 00 Core folder, it gives you many hair and faces to choose from. Install 01 Replacer if you want npcs to use these hair and heads as well.

I did not know Rebirth changes hair and faces
I'm glad you've found a better alternative for your setup though :)

Enable the plugins you've installed.
