The new vampire powers don't seem to work for me: no vampire senses, no blood power, the vampire touch is the vanilla standard.
Also, -100 personality feels a little harsh, and more to the point, very uniform. It doesn't really matter if you're an imperial with the Lady Birthsign, or just a plain orc, the end result is 0 personality that can be just as easily countered with fortification. I feel like it could be mitigated a little - say, -40, still enough to bring most common folks to zero but if you're of a special race or have a special Birthsign to counter it...?
Speaking of Birthsigns, now that I think about it, vampire-tainted signs could be a cool idea. Get your divinely-ordained bonuses revoked when you're turned, replaced with something cursed and terrifying.
Thanks for the mod. I'm finding it quite hard to find the exact mod I'm looking for for a full vampire playthrough without butchering the vanilla idea. I know, make my own mod to get that. I have never made one and I prefer to leave that to those who do it best.
On that, I find it strange that an undead character has to breath underwater? Also, is this offically compatible with Ashfall? You can just turn off various needs to solve that but could it be a thing that is considered?
First off, great mod, all the vampire clans feel very unique to each other. Doesn't feel cheaty,, has that power with a price feel, and keeps with the spirit of vanilla vampires really well. A lot of small details show a lot of love and attention was paid, like making the damage health of the blood powers ignore magic resist (if author makes a blood magic mod, I'd be all over that). However, I came across a minor issue, talking to certain individuals as a vampire causes a crash. I have a very light load order, and I can't think of what other mod it could be, as I'm very lucky to have virtually no crashes usually. This is easily avoidable by player->removespell "vampire sun damage" then adding it back when done talking to a npc who causes the issue. The easiest npc to reach who has this issue I have found is Erer Darothil, the dark elf on the top floor of Dirty Muriel's Cornerclub. Other than this, no problems. Sorry for book, again, great mod.
