Howdy, lovely island and so far very cool quest! Unfortunately, Galen won't accept the journeyman's alembic and calcinator or the weepings for me. Would you be able to give me the relevant quest stage or topic to progress?
I have encountered this same issue. I went to my house, grabbed a sample of corprus weepings from my alchemy supplies and purchased Journeyman's alembic and calcinator from the Caldera Mages Guild. Galen won't accept them.
Edit:I figured it out. You need two samples of corprus weepings. The journal clearly says "a sample of corprus weepings" and not two, which leads to the confusion.
This looks wonderful. My only issue is that, when using Kalinter's Great Seawall of Vivec, it makes Galen choosing this place to hide out seem rather hard to imagine. It looks masterfully made regardless and I'm looking forward to experiencing the quest.
Yes, I noticed that too lol. When I come to this island, it's always hilarious to me how Galen and a guard ordinator on the wall are looking right at each other. Maybe guards just think he's some delulu priest who wants more seclusion for his Almsivi prayers
hey, i just quickly had a look and maybe check the path grid again. the first thing i noticed was galen walking against a parasol. toggled path grids in game and they went through meshes. besides that it looked good, hoping for an update or i'll have to fix it myself =P
When galen tells you to speak to lady with corpus in the Arena, the quest bugs out if you already told her to go the Corpusarium, the dialouge telling galen she went to the corpusarium just loops.
I can confirm that the bug still persists. Unable to progress the quest beyond this point, coming back to Galen after typing "goodbye" in the console does nothing since he still wants to talk about Tanusea Veloth... Any way to progress the quest via Journal command?
EDIT: I got it! If you encounter the problem, go straight to Tel Fyr. Talk to Divayth Fyr about all available topics, one of them will add a new entry in your journal regarding Galen. I also talked to Tanusea Veloth who was at the tower, but I guess it's optional. After that, go back to Galen and talk about "Divayth Fyr". This will advance the questline.
So it's possible to start the quest without ever having to go to the island if you go to the corporsarium and ask Davith Fyr about Corpus. This will cause a journal update where you have gathered information that Galen was looking for.
Kinda. Galen has a different set of dialogue if you already know about Corprus, but you still need to go to the island to do Galen's quest and get any of the rewards.
So, about that compatibility with Morrowind Rebirth...
No floaters, but Rebirth does move a rock down by the dock so the mushroom with the curved stalk to the left of the dock is not attached to anything. But you will hardly notice unless you are looking for it.
A beautiful island to make your home, and a multifaceted quest line that seamlessly intertwines with the game's main story - what more could you want? This is a great mod that seems quite underrated to me.
This quest is great, Danae! You did an excellent job :) There aren't many mods that try to integrate something new into the main quest, so it's awesome!

For the time being, you can open the console and type "goodbye" to leave dialogue and the loop.
