The reward is a lot more mundane, but unexpected for sure.

    OpenMW compatible?

It should be.  I only used the vanilla engine and script functions.

On OpenMW, when trying to rotate the cube up/down and left/right, nothing happens. All the rest works fine though.

Thank you for letting me know.  I'm not sure why that would be.  I'd have to read up on how OpenMW implemented certain functions.  Sorry for the mistake.  I hadn't tested on OpenMW but I only used vanilla functions so I thought it was compatible.

I'm having the same issue, so it does seem to be an OpenMW issue, not just a one-off based on load order. To clarify what Atanvarn said, the up/down and left/right controls are being read- the menu disappears as if it's going to play the animation, but it never plays, and this softlocks the game as the menu never re-appears.

I really love the idea of the mod, so I'll probably spin a vanilla character up quickly just to try it, but I would love to see this working under OpenMW if you ever have the time to figure it out.

EDIT- If it helps, I just checked OpenMW's log, and it does give an error for the puzzle box script-

Execution of script adb_puzzleplay failed: Failed to access short member variable Ori in script adb_findcubes

I LOVE puzzles, so this mod was super fun! I liked the notebook you provided for the player (I got a bit confused at first when nothing showed up in my journal, but I got the hang of it XD). And the puzzle went off without a hitch! I got the gist of it, even if my math was super bad lol. Once I figured out what I needed to do, I got Super into the puzzle! And the end of the mod made me smile :')

If you don't mind my doing this, there are a few things I noticed:

    • Baladas dialogue - "...as they dd for the numbers", could be corrected to "...as they do"

    • Senilias dialogue- "Let me right some notes...", could be corrected to "Let me write some notes..."

Thank you for making this mod! We need more puzzles in the world <3  Happy Morrowind May Modathon 2023~!

Thank you so much!  I used the notebook instead of making it a quest in the journal so I could add the pictures.  Thank you for pointing out those typos.  I was entirely focused on the scripting and pretty much tested the dialogue worked rather than read the dialogue.  I'll correct those for a next release.

This looks incredible. Work like this really keeps Morrowind fresh!

And it's all done without LUA? Even more impressive.

Thank you!  I have no idea how MWSE or LUA work so it was hammering the regular scripts until it worked.
