Wey Hoods Extra 1.3
Original by Wey, Extras By Arach

Wey's Hood mod was a straightforward addition of a fur-textured hood that simply did what it said on the tin. I tend to prefer these kinds of mods as they are clean and don't add anything other than what they say they do. Still, I wanted a few colour and armor-grade options so I have extended this mod by doing so.

The hoods can be bought in Balmora. Milie Hastien, the Fine Clothier, sells the cloth hoods, and Meldor the Armorer sells the armor hoods.

Including the original fur colour, there are now 10 colour options for this simple hood:
Fur (original), Black, Blue, Green, Grey, Night (dark blue), Purple, Red, Sable, and White.

Each colour has a clothing, light, medium and heavy version. I have given them decent armor and enchant ratings so you aren't too penalised for your fashion choice.

As there are no head/hat slots for clothing in Morrowind, the clothing versions of the hoods have three different slot options, which will replace that clothing slot to instead show the hood.
Shoes (suffixed with (b) for boots) - This replaces any shoes the character would wear, and is especially useful for beast races as they can wear this even though they can't wear normal shoes. If you are using the excellent "boots for beasts" mod (by Morrowmodder and Amenophis, https://www.nexusmods.com/morrowind/mods/48726 ) this will use the same slot as the beast boots, but this gives you a clothing option instead of armor.
Shirt (suffixed with (s) - This uses the shirt slot to display the hood, useful if you are covering your shirt with armor/robes anyway.)
Pants (suffixed with (p) - This uses the pants slot to display the hood, useful if your pants are covered by a skirt/robe anyway.

As these options generally take up a clothing slot, plus you probably won’t want to try and wear a helmet at the same time (you can but there will be clipping), these versions of the hood have a very high enchant value to account for the loss of the slot + head. (Generally the enchant value is that of a daedric helm + exquisite clothing of the used slot.)

The hoods are added to the store chests of Milie and Meldor with a script that will run once after a short delay (20 seconds) when you first load the game with this mod enabled. You will get a small message when each of these stores have been stocked. As well as the stores, a handful of NPCs have been given hoods just to show them off in the world. One of the first NPCs wearing a hood you may come across is the Argonian, Hul, in Balmora (once the script has complete) which is a good indicator that the mod has worked.

Their IDs are arach_hood_(type)_(colour)
Where (type) is c(cloth),l(light armor), m(medium armor), h(heavy armor).
And where (colour) is fur, black, blue, green, grey, night, purp, red, sable, or white.
Eg, arach_hood_h_blue, arach_hood_c_red, etc
Further, the shirt and pants slot cloth hoods also have their slot in the ID, so a (default)shoe slot is arach_hood_c_blue, the shirt slot is arach_hood_c_blue_s, and the pants slot is arach_hood_c_blue_p

Apart from the extra option additions, what I have changed from the original mod is:
Removed the barrel that contained the hoods
Increased the hood enchant values
Added icons for the hoods
Tweaked the model so the front neck part doesn't stick out so much.

I hope you enjoy them!

-----Installation-----
Extract the compressed file into your Data Files folder, so that the .esp is in there and the Meshes, Textures and Icons are in their respective folders. Enable it in your mod organiser of choice.

-----Requirements-----
This mod has no extra requirements.
(I have tested this mod with OpenMW using the files of the Morrowind GOTY edition from Steam.)
There was a small caution on the Wiki regarding the Equip function in scripts, that it may have issues in vanilla Morrowind, but Tribunal straightens it out. I have tried this mod in Morrowind with the DLCs removed and it seemed to work just fine. If in doubt, I would recommend to use it with at least Tribunal, but it shouldn't be a requirement.

-----Conflicts-----
This mod only adds new items, and does not modify any existing items or entries. The hoods are added to the world with a startup script that will stop itself once it is complete. If for any reason the hoods don't show up, add the hoods you want to your player with the console. It should not conflict with anything, and should be fine anywhere on your mod list.

-----Changelog-----
1.1 Fixed icon folder and added black hood.
1.2 Tucked the hood's model nodes at the front down a bit so it doesn't awkwardly stick out. Lightened black and white textures, added sable (which was the previous white). Made specific store chests for Milie and Meldor to contain the hoods instead of potentially polluting their existing chests.
1.3 Removed the store chests and cell edits of the stores. The hoods are now added with a script, stocking the stores with one of each, as well as giving a handful of NPCs in the world a hood.
