Thank you all for the kind words and support! Feel free to suggest mods to normal map. I will take a look at them with the other mods I have my eye on already.
it depends on your hardware. if you have a modern GPU then it shouldn't because they are built to load massive textures in. But I wouldn't be able to say more without knowing your configuration. and even then I could only guess.
So basically you want mod author to guess your mod list and make one file just for you. Dudes this is normal maps for hundreds mod out there. You pick and choose what you have and want. Your level of your ungratefulness is astonishing
There is no reason to have them seperate. Putting textures into folder for mods you don't have doesn't do anything positive or negative, and the overall filesize of everything is tiny. Not to mention you have to sit there clicking download and then slow download one at a time over the course of an hour or two.
yeah this made me laugh when I saw it too. It's not ACTUALLY split into a billion files, it's just that the main file (which is like 2gb) is hidden among what looks like 100s of patches for other mods. just sort by file size and set to order descending and the main game textures are there. Could've been put front and center or explained in the mod description but no harm no foul I guess
@Batkan1234 100% man. This dude just went through a bazillion files, making all this great stuff. It's a box full of awesome free stuff, and people complain that it's not all separately bagged lol...
It's a super simple fix to separate the main file from the optional files. there's no need defend this practice lol. "y-youre so ungrateful!" dude it's not that deep, again, super simple and easy fix
ok fine, sort by size and... there are 3 blue cicle V checks and one white circle V check among the literally dozens of green circle Vs... what do they mean?
could have maybe put a more clear, descriptive description in the description tab? oh wait...
Does anybody know how to install this for OpenMW using Mod Organizer? Like please, it's just not just 'use your choice of mod manager and install' it's a single folder with textures, and all I want is the 'Vanilla Textures Normal Mapped', but not only is there two options that Mod Organizer doesn't recognize as a fomod but since there isn't any .esp or .esm or even the .omwaddon OpenMW doesn't care for it.
Is it a manual install only then? Do we just drag it straight into our Data File. Someone else had this same question and they just disappear without an answer. Please love of god haven't never been able to mod Morrowind once because of how many damned installation and different downloads for every single mod, Morrowind modders created 8 different manuals to hang a portrait on a wall bro I swear.
Put the textures folder in my morrowind root and it looks like this: https://imgur.com/a/UARPq67 is this working? it doesn't look like the pictures you uploaded...
Hello. First of all thanks for all your hard work. Very nice to have everything in one place! However, I've been using the Enhanced Textures and Enhanced Textures ATLAS normal maps and been noticing a LOT of bugs. Wrong size, wrong format, corruption... Would it be possible for you to make another set? You could test them with OpenMW pretty easily. F10 gives a console that'll tell you about all sorts of problems with textures/normals etc. Thanks!

edit: just installing it with base MW works fine but for some reason Mo2 destroys my game
