When I show the goldbrand to Sirilonwe, she says she want someone killed, but not details are given, and no other clues are shown on how to progress. Only the goldbrand topic shows up, but that doesn't trigger anything either. I'm already arch-mage, and I don't think I'm using any blocker mods, just openmw. Any thoughts on why the trigger doesn't work?
Great mod, a lorefriendly way to let people who like to roleplay or - more importantly use eltonbrand. Keeps the "quirks" of the easter egg, removes the most tedious requirement (being a vampire).
Just wanted to let other people know, this is (partially) not compatible with: 1)sheogorad groves of the north: Issmi ends under some rocks 2)illuminated order: Issmi ends inside a lighthouse Unless you relocate her (I did so using the CS), you'll need to use the second option to reforge the blade.
There are a bunch of other mods that use that island (e.g. an addendum to tamrielic lore, fort ghostmoth are in my actual load order) but they are compatible with Issmi's location.
A minor nitpick: the flesh on Issmi is still called Flesh of Staadia. Also, a bit of trivia: other than in the shivering isles, she also appears in Tamriel Rebuilt, in a shrine of Sheogorath (it's fine, she's a busy daedra, she can be in two places).
She's a vanilla creature used in a vanilla quest. If you've already killed her and her body has disappeared, you'll have to use the septims.
It's come to my attention that Staada is disabled until the start of the Azura quest, so I've just released a new version which replaces her with a new Golden Saint named Issmi. You'll find her on an island north of Dagon Fel, near Malmus Grotto.
Did you talk to Sirilonwe and get the quest update to look for her? She is near Malmus Grotto, on the same island as it. Not an island near that island.
Man I really loved this, I just finished it. Eltonbrand has always been something I'd never get because of the highly specific requirements and I don't like being a vampire, so this quest is just what I wanted. The twist at the end is perfectly Boethian, a good reminder of exactly what Prince has claimed this artifact. It was a very satisfying conclusion
you misspelled staada. also she doesn't have the quest item on her unless you spawned a separate mob named staadia, if you did I couldn't find her, and if you meant staada she doesn't spawn unless you start azura's quest which is a huge inconvenience to have to run all over(though any serious playthrough will do it sooner rather than later anyway for the star). while I understand the concept of using the 11171 gold to melt it down, it's a difference the magical metal of a daedra's flesh or armor vs mundane gold, using that logic you can just use any golden saint but that would have likely made it a huge mess to add the item to every saint in the game and only actually use it for a single quest. it would have made sense to have a merchant sell you the rare metal of a greater golden saint for that amount but I'm assuming that's more scripting effort than it's worth when you can just do it this way. I wasn't a fan of the plot twist but I'm sure most people would enjoy it. I love the concept of the mod, the execution's a bit of a miss for me.
it's funny cuz thinking about how much simpler vampirism was in the other games. I think the morrowind vampire is the strongest of the bunch since you get so many stat boosts and also the only one you can't get it more than once. makes me miss being able to become a coldharbor vampire on demand ala serana.
Hello! When Sirilonwe tells me to pick up the hammer theres nothing on the anvil could you help me out with this bug thanks also i already completed the skull crusher quest fot the imperial cult
Your save might need repairing since you've visited the cell before. In Wrye Mash, go to the saves tab and right click on your save file and press 'repair all' in the context menu that appears.
I was just lamenting the fact that Eltonbrand isn't obtainable without being a vampire. I've been having a blast collecting all the rare artifacts in Morrowind but I just assumed I'd never be able to get this one, with the morally good Redoran character I have going right now.
