Changelogs

Version 1.3
Reduced default fish probability from 50 to 35.
Files cleaned using tes3cmd.
Version 1.2
Added per stage probability config option.
Version 1.1
Randomized spawn location to be near dead fish instead of on top of it.
Rebalanced fish speed to account for scaling.
Added a new final stage: Teracrab.
Reduced spawn probability if your character level is less than 3,5,7,9 respectively... for each stage.
Tested and verified on an otherwise vanilla copy of MW, with a backup version of the mod just in case yours crashes in the same way mine does.
Version 1.0
Initial release.
If you are a judge, set the global to 200 to guarantee spawning each tier fish.
THERE'S ALWAYS A BIGGER FISH
[DESCRIPTION] Every slaughterfish has a chance on death to spawn a bigger slaughterfish, who may have eaten some smugglers. Bigger and bigger and bigger they get. Eventually, they might get to be too big for the sea. Get lucky enough, and you may face the final terror of the seas, a descendent of the mighty Skar itself.
[INSTALLATION] This mod should work with any version of morrowind. I made it mostly using openMW CS, and I did testing on vanilla. If you have any bugs, please let me know.
Unzip the mod into your datafiles or something. Standard .esp install rules, I imagine.
[CONFIGURATION] By default, the you have a 50% chance of spawning a bigger fish at every stage if you are high enough level. If you wish to change this, you can use one of the following console commands (open the console with ~):
Set SolBiggerFishProb to 20 ;low probability: 0.16% chance of final stage
Set SolBiggerFishProb to 35 ;default probability: 1.50% chance of final stage
Set SolBiggerFishProb to 50 ;high probability: 6.25% chance of final stage
Set SolBiggerFishProb to 200 ;guaranteed every stage, even if underlevelled
[CONFLICTS] Make sure it's after any mod that affects creatures and would remove their scripts. It relies on a script being attached to default slaughterfish.
[TROUBLESHOOTING] If it causes your game to crash, use the "UseIfOtherCrashes" esp instead. This is a weird mystery bug me and vanilla wiz Jackimoff Wackimoff couldn't figure out in several hours... to do with setting the placeatme location for the next fish to a random value. It only caused issues on my copy. Who knows.
