Planned update: - Honestly not much! Maybe add M'acchi and/or Y'atto. - Latte has a new quest/feature level 2 to 24, I could add more for the next levels.
PS : I'd love to see screenshots of your adventure with Latte!
Hello, having good time adventuring with Latte, but I have a problem. After level 4, he asked me to do sparring. He didn't attack me at all and after few minutes of fighing him he told me enough. When I leveled up, he didn't offer me any new quest like before. Is there any trick how to unblock his quests?
The sparring worked normally. Quests are available as soon as you level up. They are usually introduced by a dialogue topic: have you exhausted all the dialogue options?
I liked using Latte ("Nice Voice"). I'm always a fan of unlocking via quests and Latte's has loads of those as options. I'd often level up to see what the next quest would be or deviate to do his quests. Overall his fairly durable enough as well to not go down.
Feedback: - Adding savant/scout options like with the Imperial Cults quests so we can ICly get the answer to the visions without having to check the guide would be appreciated - One bug with the Mysticism topic has been logged. - It is entirely possible to exit Azura's Shrine on the last run without seeing a needed cutscene.
Overall Latte integrates well enough without causing problems so will likely be keeping him in my load order.
I'm updating rn (new heads, mostly) Mysticism was fixed before but I didn't think of an Intervention feature for Latte. I'll see what I can do. The issue with to is that without a mod like Easy Escort, other companions will be ditched. I'll look into the final cutscene.
Thank you for sharing Latte with us! I'd been waiting for a propper khajiit companion mod for 10+ years when this precious boy came along, and he is an absolute gem! Those fluffy cheeks melt my cat lady heart haha. Nice touch with the other names too, I chuckled when I saw the painting in his cave. Latte's voice is a little low compared to other npcs, but it doesn't detract from his general awesomeness. On a side note it would have been really cool if he had a script to detect if he had any moonsugar in his inventory and change his dialogue accordingly. Then again it's just like a cat to stand in front of a full bowl of food and complain about having nothing to eat...
Thanks for making this mod I really like it again, but I ran into a bug that causes him to no longer equip his armor. He has the Chitinetch Cuirass and the leggings in his inventory. I have Wares Ultimate installed as well. Is there any way to reset this script? any help would be appreciated.
Npcs and companions automatically equip what gives them the best AC, so depending on their skills and the armour type, they'll ignore armour and wear clothes. There's no script involved.
Latte has better light armour than unarmored and his chitinetch has good AC so I'm a little surprised but depending how he levels up, he could prefer no armour at all.
Try using the console to give Latter higher Light Armour skill like this: aa_comp_latte->setlightarmor 100
I had no idea he would pick his gear based on skill levels, thank you for you for pointing that out. I was able to set his skill levels with the console commands and now he will wear finally wear the armor. Thank you very much!
This feels like a stupid question, so I apologise, but, I've realised, as I've returned to Morrowind, that my modding knowledge has become sketchy, between my memory not being reliable, becoming accustomed to the newer Bethesda games, and the fact that the Morrowind modding scene, and methods for doing things, have changed quite a lot in the last few years. So… I was about to update, and then I decided against it… What are the recommended best practices for updating these days? I'm figuring I should dismiss Latte, travel to a different cell, remove the mod, update things in Mash, launch Morrowind, make a save, quit and install the new version??? Or should I just overwrite the old version with the new one?
Thanks for the fast reply! Normally, I learn best with written instructions (which is why I love your guides, they're so clear), so I'm going to have to watch that very carefully, several times, when I'm feeling focused. And I will DEFINITELY make backups before starting. *chuckles* Again, cheers!

Thank you for your report!

Latte does that, sad meows in front of his food "It's not fresh fish... again!"
Used Divine Intervention and they did not come with.
I have also found that if I run through a complex building very quickly, Latte can get left behind. Not sure why.
Wonderful mod!
He seems to stop healing himself after a while.
Also, I tried the sparring and he died. I guess I expected the sparring to automatically end at some point so I just kept hitting him.
The sparring does stop after you hit him a few times. You can also stop at anytime but sheathing your weapons.

Or, should I just wait until a new character?
I'd simply update the mod (keep an old saved game as backup just in case)
The best method is:
Hope this helps!
