Mostly just graphics and lighting mods. I think mainly the higher res texture packs are imo the best as they stay faithful to the original art style, but make the game look way better when you're basically inside of it. I could get you a list when I'm home later, if I remember. I wouldn't even say this pack of mods is not necessary, unless you're like me and the dice roll combat just completely breaks all immersion in VR.
Just don't install TR, as far as I know it should work fine without it. The file edits the NPCs in TR but if those aren't present I assume it should still work. If not lmk and I'll figure out making one without those edits. I'm nearly done with v0.3 and I'll try and test out wether it works without it and add an option for non TR if it doesn't work.
i will say it was worth it... if you like being frustrated in combat and feeling like you suck at the game... they are very punishing you dont even have to get hardcore mode.... just go to the difficulty slider in the game menu and turn it up and you will be in the fight of your life.... even a nex hound will devour you. i recommend difficulty at +15 max.... because any higher and "you are no match for me" becomes an understatement.
at that the nice thing is you can level down the difficulty slider and match what ever level of challange you want.... or max it out and die to a guy who is unarmored and wielding an iron dagger.... whilest wearing full ebony and a daedric katana =)
This is pretty much the feedback I was hoping for with this mod. I very much wanted the game to be difficult, even at 0, as pretty much every other mod that tweaks combat by removing the dice roll makes the game so easy that it borders on unplayable.
I'm working on something a little more flushed out with it, mainly just tweaking a couple of enemies that wind up being crazy OP like the rats above Drarayne Thelas house and balancing out health and ranged attacks, but it's really time consuming and I just don't have the time that I used to. Glad you're enjoying it though! It got me to beat the whole game in VR and that's really the only reason I made it.
For sure, none of them are very big though and you can install it in about 10ish minutes. If one of them wasn't important I'd delete it, but they all add at least something to make the VR combat more enjoyable. I really wouldn't recommend installing it if you're not gonna play in VR.
