This is a very underrated, minimal house mod. Great work. It's the perfect place for my retired legionnaire / gladiator character.
About adding an option to purchase, a simpler way is to have a merchant in Ebonheart sell the key as an item. No additional dialogue needed, just ensure the key is in the inventory of a merchant and valued at a cost reasonable for the house. For reference, the House strongholds cost around 5000 gold.
Hi. Your mod seems to affect cells inside Ebonheart or has compatibility/load issues with Beautiful Cities of Morrowind (BCOM). If you load your mod AFTER BCOM there are landscape issues around the row of buildings opposite to the Six Fishes. If you load your MOD before BCOM it seems fine.
Otherwise, nice design although I'd question a couple of the expensive items found in the crates outside. Seems a bit of an easy bonus.
Thank you for the input! Glad you like the design. Interesting to hear because I thought I had removed any cell changes via cleaning other than the few that the house lays on.
I figured the pearls and dreugh armor weren't especially unbalanced since there are locations in vanilla where higher value items can be easily swiped. I will possibly upload a version in the future without the items.
Hi! This looks very promising, but could you make it so the property would have to be purchased or otherwise earned? I'm thinking a very significant sum since this is a spacious property situated right next to the fortified seat of government in Vvardenfell, and has its own dock to boot.
I may look into this. This home was intended for my personal playthrough and was my first mod. It was the product of me learning the Morrowind Construction Set and it wasn't too much of a mess so I decided to share it.
I agree that it is a large property without any cost. If I go back to making another Morrowind home I will see what I can learn to make it possible to purchase the home through an npc dialogue.
