1. INSTALLING THE PLUGIN

Manual:
Unzip the Data Files folder from the zip into your Morrowind folder

If any kind of doubling occurs you should uncheck any version of the plugin you have loaded, then save your game without them loaded and the check the newest version. This will get rid of any of the spears you may have had in your possession but they can be added back with the player->additem command in the console.

3. Playing the Mod

--------------------------------------------------------------

To play this mod visit the "House of Spears" in Suran or the "Shack of Spears" in Gnaar Mok. Hints on the locations of the two artifact spears can be received by speaking to Maen-Rei in the Suran House of Spears. Many of the spears have been added to leveled lists so that they appear in the game through normal play. Because of this make sure to create a merged leveled list patch.

4. What's included

Things included in the original version of the plug-in:

10 new "Spear" weapons
4 Spears that are retextures of base models: glass, sapphire, diamond, and goblin.
2 New Spear models: Gypsum and Arrowhead.
5 scythe models that use the spear skill: Two steel varieties, silver, gold and Daedric. Some can be bought others can only be found on high level daedra.
4 "throwing spears" that use the marksman skill: Chitin, Iron, Arrowhead, and Glass.
2 one-handed variants of the Diamond and Goblin spears have been added to the game. WARNING! The script on the spears raises your longblade skill to your current spear skill level while equipped simulating it using the spear skill. You will not be able to level up your spear skill using these spears.
2 new artifact spears. "The Spirit of the Ashlands" and "The Twilight of the Moon".
2 new shops where many of the spears can be bought. One in Suran and one in Gnaar Mok. The shop owners can also give you hints on where to find the artifacts.
Several new enchanted versions of the aforementioned weapons
All items have been added to leveled lists so they can be found on enemies and in containers (Make sure you merge leveled lists)
One new dungeon "Zyranitibu" which is the location of one of the artifact spears.

What's new in the "Special Edition" release:
Adds 6 new weapons:
Adds four unused spear models.
2 from the base game, the Dwarven Longspear and Daedric Longspear. These models were the basis for two of the retextures in the original mod, but I didn't add the original meshes to the mod until now.
2 from Bloodmoon, Stalhrim and Nordic Silver. The Nordic Silver has both a normal two handed spear variant as well as a throwing variant and can be found in nordic leveled lists like the other BM nordic silver weapons. The Stalhrim spear is a one handed spear (see one handed spear warning above) since the other stalhrim weapons are all one handed weapons. It can be made by Hidar or Carnius Magius
1 new scythe the "Sapphire Warscythe" which is a retexture of the Daedric WarScythe model
1 new artifact spear called the "Scale Flayer" found on Solstheim.
Includes a new quest where the new artifact spear is the reward. Quest includes two new dungeons styled after two dungeons in Skyrim - Dragonborn.
New enchanted versions of weapons added by this mod
Added all the mods weapons to more leveled lists than before.
I moved the location of the House of Spears to just outside the walls of Suran. One of the common complaints of the original mod was that there was another popular mod that already had a building in the original location. So with this release I decided to go ahead and move the location to be compatible.
I have modifed the dungeon Zyranitibu slightly for this release from it's original form. I found it was difficult to traverse some of the rocky areas required to progress. I also added some more levitation potions so non mages can have an easier time fully exploring the dungeon without using levitation magic. Also fixed some floating statics and added more clutter so it didn't appear quite as empty.
Updated all textures to .dds (some icons were .tga)
Various other house keeping items
mod cleaned with tes3cmd
Now requires BloodMoon due to use of assets from that expansion.

5. *HINTS/Spoilers*

Zyranitibu can be found in cell (10,18)
Spirit of ashlands can be found in Odaishah
Quest "Whispers of the Future" Reward is Scale Flayer spear (lines listed as *OPTIONAL* can be skipped but give information that would be helpful if you were solving the quest on your own)
-Talk to Houlton in Gnaar Mok Shack of Spears about "Artifact Spears", after discussing the same topic with Mein-Rei in Suran *OPTIONAL*
-Find blocked temple in (-22,21) on Solstheim (triggered by an invisible floor, walk right up to the large boulder in front if you are having issues finding it) *OPTIONAL*
-Once you choose to add a smith or trader at Raven Rock, speak with whichever merchant you picked about "Ancient Ruined Temple" *OPTIONAL*
-Find Nchardak at (-18,20)
-Attempt to pull one of the levers in the dome of Nchardak without Dwemer Oil *OPTIONAL*
-Find Dwemer Oil outside Nchardak, or in the locked chest on the first floor (key is in the stove on the top floor, not in the dome)
-Pull both levers in the dome (you have twenty seconds from the time you pull one lever to pull the other, they reset if you are too slow)
-Return to the temple (-22,21) to have the ballista reveal the entrance to the temple (See note above in relation to the invisible floor)
-Enter the temple sanctum cell
-Kill the Draugr Uller to get the spear and complete the quest
