In my installation, the folder is called "Explore", alongside "Battle" and "Special". Not sure what you're talking about here. Where exactly are you putting the files?
A very good idea. Personally i modified to have, on average, one "time" of music for 10 "time" of silence. With that, when the music come it's a sort of gift... £:^)
A improvement (IMO): you can also completly remove combat music; because music in combat is a little bit dumb. £:^) And because combat music unrealistically alerts you when a foe, that you don't notice, start to attack you.
Pretty clever - the combat music is a little lackluster imo as well. So you're saying if there's nothing in the combat music folder it'll continue playing the explore music? Cool.
I didn't "erase" the combat music files; i replace them with same names silent files. If you empty the combat music folder, i don't think it'll continue playing the explore music. I imagine it'll play nothing. Same result.
This is great! I use something very similar for Oblivion called Silent Tracks Expanded, and I've always wanted something like it for Morrowind. Simple, yet effective. What's really great is that it really lets you take in more of the ambient noises too. Wind, rocks, etc.

Anyway, thanks for making this!
