I wanted to mention that this mod could probably use a patch for Brother Juniper's Twin Lamps mod, since it adds a shack with some hostile slave hunters outside of it in the same area as Hla Odai. It also seems to overwrite the terrain edits a bit because there are some hills near it that swallow up some of the buildings near it, like the slave shack.
I would second looking into a patch for Brother Juniper's Twin Lamps! I love both mods and it doesn't seem like too much of a conflict to patch. Thanks to the Madcrabs for everything y'all do for the community!
Just discovered this mod. Seems very interesting, thanks! But was the conflict mentioned earlier resolved, the one with the Sable Dragon inn mod? Is a patch still needed?
As far as I know, no one has a made a patch. I am primarily a MWSE modder so I'm not very good at the CS. I could try to take a look at it, but you'll likely have to ask one of the other Madcrabs or someone versed in making CS patches.
Nice mod but conflicts with sable dragon (inn) that I find to be one of the essential mods (gives you about 13 nice quests and is very lore friendly). Would need only minor adjustment to let Sable Dragon also exist and be a logical part of the whole.
I'm looking into making an interop file for this mod and Ashfall so that you can use the tea mixes to make tea. No clue what I should set their descriptions to be outside of what effects they have.
I'm going to use the alchemical effects they have if they're beneficial enough. For the ones that are a powder version of an ingredient that already is a tea ingredient, I think I'll make it a stronger version of the tea.
The teas used here are exactly the same as the ones in Stuparstar's Tea Mod. The Ids, effects etc. I just used her resource esp to allow them to work together automatically. So you might want to look at that for descriptions and what not.
Damn, I use Beautiful Cities of Morrowind which has its own Rem_BC.esp patch, so the Hla Odai patch will likely cause more conflicts unless it's compatible with BCOM
Hey just started going through the Morrowind Modding Madness mods, started with Sails and Sales and now i'm onto Hla Odai. It has been very fun and interesting seeing what it has to offer, it's a beautiful town, the lamps give it so much life and color, the aethestic is great. I wasn't expecting that one tea quest, got me surprised seeing the end of it and what was in front of me :D. And it was very sweet being a matchmaker. Now i would like to point out some small bugs or unexpected things. There are multiple furn chairs in the local inn which had their textures deprecated, i'm assuming this was a result of the newest Tamriel Data update. The tea quest doesn't complete after finishing, you get the end reward but it doesn't disappear from the active quests in the journal. I came across maybe a small oversight or maybe it's just me not knowing where it is, but i broke into the Warehouse to get the key needed to free the slaves but i only came across a keyring on the top of a shelf that doesn't do anything. Now, i consider this mod alongside Sails & Sales a permanent addition to my modlist :D.
Hi! Thank you so much for you review. Saying that you're making our mod part of your permanent install I find to be the highest complement.
I'll look into those issues that you pointed out.
Currently there is no means of freeing the slaves. There just wasn't time to implement that in earlier. I do intend to add that in a future larger content update.
"Immediately had to test it. Such a wonderfully designed town! Thank you for sharing this with us.
Some information about two conflicts I've noticed so far: OAAB Brother Junipers Twin Lamps places a shack belonging to some slave hunters in the same spot. Swamp Fever also adds a shack and seemingly some rocks that collide with Hla Odai."
But there was no fix? Is there a post I'm missing?

All you do is download this ESP and replace your Rem_BC.esp with this version, then re-run distant land generation.
Once I get permission to upload this patch on our Nexus page, it will be available here as well.

[CONFLICT]
> 'Mad_HlaOdai_V1.2.esp'
> 'ANY'
> 'OAAB Brother Junipers Twin Lamps.esp'
| Incompatible with "Hla Odai".
Refer to the very first post made on this thread.
