      An n64 console is planned, including a CRT of some sort, but no there'll be no emulated functionality to play any of the Nintendo games.

      You could use an emulator and an application that pins the emu to the front and simulate that experience.

   Very fun mod idea :)  I will try it sometime maybe. Easter eggs/collecting is something I'd never really thought of.
