Seems like it works for other people but the yes/no prompt does nothing for me

It says multiplayer is where sheograth likes to play tricks, but will he still do that in single player? (Sorry I'm really confused)

No, single player is safe. What that line is referring to is multiplayer and that every player with the amulet opens the same item storage. Meaning people can wait for unsuspecting victims to place items in the storage and then steal the items out of it, leaving rude notes in their wake if their server lets them create notes/letters etc.

It can also be used in a good way with multiplayer being that friends/family/associates can quickly move items from one place/person to another.

Why Uncle Sheo? Shouldn't the vault belong to Clavicus Vile? Creeper is Barbus after all. (In Oblivion he mentions being a imp living with Orcs.)

Lore for this mod is that an unknown figure sold the amulet to Creeper, who acts as a merchant for the player so we can assume the Scamp will trade with other people. The figure could've been Sheogorath testing if Barbus was able to sense through his disguise or, to see if he was as much a merchant/trader as he was saying he is with all that creeping. The figure could have also been the last owner of the amulet, who went to Creeper for some gold and creeping. Both reasonings should justify why Creeper is selling this amulet for more than it's worth, because it belongs to Sheogorath.
