The Yneslean merchandise seems kind of bright in-game (at least on OpenMW 0.46 and 0.47). I'm guessing that this may be an issue with the mesh color/light settings, as the textures (when viewed on their own) don't appear as bright. [There is a slight difference between mine and the mod screenshots, but this seems to mostly be due to different weather / time of day / lighting settings]
Would it be possible to make the "face" cushions optional (I'm referring to the ones that use the textures tx_misc_pillow_01.dds - tx_misc_pillow_09.dds and tx_misc_pillow_13.dds). While I like them, they don't feel particularly lore friendly.
The cushions that use the textures : tx_misc_pillow_10.dds - tx_misc_pillow_12.dds and tx_misc_pillow_14.dds - tx_misc_pillow_17.dds on the other hand, do look like something that one might find in Morrowind or the Empire.
This certainly makes Khuul more interesting to visit.
That said one has to wonder why a trader (of trinkets and weapons) would set up shop in a poor and remote fishing village. I guess it could be temporary or perhaps it's a nice out off the way location for some less than legal trading (dealing with smugglers, thieves guild etc …)
Well, you could imagine that Khuul doesn't stay static the whole time and starts expanding after you establish Eastern Empire Company connections to Solstheim, maybe?
Khuul is fairly well connected (has both boats and a siltstrider port) so perhaps there is a decent amount of people coming and going. I would expect most of this to be related to fishing with a bit of pearl diving.
I guess that it's likely that they are Legion and East Empire supply & transport ships docking in Khuul refresh water and food supplies. This will give legionnaires, miners and other passengers a chance to buy some of the trinkets as the ships are docked.
