About this mod

Adds 2 books that list where slaves are being held in Vvardenfell.

Requirements
Permissions and credits
Changelogs
This mod is compatible with Morrowind and Open Morrowind.

Do you really want to free slaves but you're not sure where they are?
This mod adds 2 books that list where slaves are being held in Vvardenfell.
They both contain the same information but the 'Slave Log' is from the perspective of a slave owner and 'Light The Way' is from the perspective of the Twin Lamps.

Information contained in the books

* The caves and strongholds where slaves are being held, all listed alphabetically.
* Basic directions to get to the slave's locations.
* If a slave key is available at the location and if anyone is carrying it.
* The number of captives being held at the location and either their names or race.
* Additional information that lets you know if you can break a quest by freeing the slaves or killing their captor at that location.

Additional Information and Added notes

The "Additional Information" and "Added notes" are in the books to let you know if there is a chance you will break a quest by wandering in and freeing the slaves or by killing their owner.
For example, if you see one of these phrases:

"your actions may inadvertently change Vvardenfell's future in ways you cannot foresee"
or
"until the political climate has regained it's equilibrium"

THEN FREEING THESE SLAVES AT THE WRONG TIME MAY BREAK THE MAIN QUEST.

If your faction is mentioned in the "Additional Information" or the "Added notes" then you have a chance of BREAKING A FACTION QUEST if you free the slaves at that location before you finish the faction quest.

Where you can find the books

Light The Way is placed on a table in Ilmeni Dren's house at St Delyn Canal South-One, Vivec.
A Slave Owner's Log is placed on a desk near Orvas Dren in his villa at the Dren Plantation, Ascadian Isles.

There is this mod if you want Master Slave Keys that unlock all of the slaves or single keys that unlock all of the slaves with updated books.

Compatibility

No conflicts that I know of.
