If you are interested in my mod, have ideas for what to add, or just want to watch the development of the mod, you can do so by going to my discord server AnrohaModdingLair Link is now infinite
I'm relatively new to modding but I recently finished a plug-in making several small stat tweaks to the vanilla weapon lists (made sure to include Bloodmoon in the data files, I believe that's the easiest way to avoid unclean gmsts? though I haven't planned to upload it, I figured I should still make an effort on that part.) but, to the point...in this mod, would I be able to do the same with these new weapons? open up the data file in construction set and adjust the stats? a big one for me was halberds...they're so cool but basically there was no reason to use them over a spear since their chop and slash is horrible. IRL spears can actually cut quite effectively depending on the tip design and the wielder...and halberds are just an axe with more leverage so they should absolutely be more effective than a spear at chopping and slashing while actually being a bit weaker with thrusting since the added weight at the end means they're a bit awkward. so anyway...yeah, would it be as simple as opening this in the construction set to make my own adjustments for my personal game?
I need to choose between the 'Capitalization name patch' which requires an ancient version that gives errors when I enter Aldruhn Mages Guild or give up on this mod, give up on this mod won.
There are no naginatas added from this mod. Only weapon types from the vanilla game plus pikes ("long spears").
For anybody looking for naginatas or more weapon types in general, I'd recommend checking of "4NM Data" (https://www.nexusmods.com/morrowind/mods/47015) although it's more than a weapon-adding mod so a bit of work if you just want to add new weapons. Very good source of new assets to mod them in yourself, however.
