    Playing on OpenMW and the companions all seem to not want to use their weapons. I give them their preferred weapon type but they will just put it away and use fists the majority of the time. Amelie, Iona and Lucan have all done this. I thought it might be a conflict with sheathing weapons mod but another companion, Constance, from an incredibly old mod seems to work with weapon sheathing just fine. The main thing is they will equip their weapons when i tell them to wear their armor but then they will attack one time with the weapons and when they sheath them they seem to unequip them and VERY rarely they will re-equip them on their own.

    Hey I love the mod and although I'm not very far into it yet I'm having the issue of the companions all running in and just dying. Amelie and Andren both have enchanted items with on use fire damage on target but instead they bonk the enemies with the staffs. Any way around this?

    Will Iona and Lucen's leveling work if I'm using a mod (Like MULE or CCCP) that removes the level-up screen, or should I use companion leveler in that case?

      Yeah they will still scale normally with those mods.

    Might just be dumb but i killed all the pirates in the cave for Amelies quest but the quest wont end and no journal update. Am I missing something?

    I'm in the point of Amelie's quest where Curio says he will be in touch and I haven't heard from after many days. Is there a specific trigger for this to happen?

      Depending on the quest, you may need to either:

      wait 3+ days and talk to Sallustius Atian with Amelie following
      or speak to Amelie while in Balmora, and she may suggest hanging out at the Lucky Lockup. Refuse or do it, and afterward speak to Atian

    Great mod. But im stuck on the quest after Amelie gets attacked by the assassin in the sewers would be great to know what I have to do to continue the quest.

      Amelie will have a dialogue after the attack in the sewers, once you've had that interaction Sallustius Atian at the bar will have a follow up quest after a few in game days.

    I got a weird case of Lucen refusing to wear some pieces of light armor because i repaired it in the companion sharing screen - ever since he would become mysteriously picky about what to wear. Is there any fix to this?

      I'm not sure. Lucan does have a fairly high unarmored skill, and may simply be choosing to use that if the light armor is weak enough.

    I'm really adoring this mod! It's truly so much fun. Only issue is I cannot seem to find the correct place to deliver the brandy to, I've scoured the grand council Chambers. Have you considered writing a general quest guide?

      okay after some delving i dont think the compatibility with bcom option is working properly, i can find the place in the cs but even if striders nest is for sure loading after bcom and i for sure clicked the compatibility option in the installer it wont work. And the ebonheart secific compatibility in optional files is archived so i cant download it. Any suggestions and/or quest stages?

      Actually posting this gave me an idea and i fixed it. because your patches straight up replace the whole esp, you can only choose no music or bcom compatibility, not both. by temporarily disabling the no music one I'm able to get it working just fine. (the music is fine btw its just much louder than the base game and its a bit much for me)

      edit: you also have to use the command (placeatpc "lack_qac_zdukegOutside" 1 1 1) to get the guy to spawn and enable going through the door

    Cool mod. Can you tell me if classes are locked for the characters, or can i suggest a change of their class or skill develoement? Seems like both Amelia and Lucan favor light armor and since iam playing an archer, i dont want to be stuck with 3 characters using light armor and 2 characters using bows. I could use companion leveler instead, but i dont want to stray too far from "canon" so the dialogs like the crossbow for amelie still make sense.

      By default they will only level their "canon" skills, but if you prefer to customize them with companion leveler you can disable their leveling scripts by entering "set LACK_qac_NoLevel to 1" in the console.

      If you're worried about archer overload, Amelie develops decent short blade skill after her quests. Lucan has decent long blade, short blade, and block skills so he can switch between melee or archery.
