the un-necessary clutter makes the house look ugly and bloated. whole point of a house is for storage and you s#*! up the shelves with books, bowls, and bottles?

Really love how you've set the manor up, it looks great. I felt kind of bad replacing everything on the shelves with my own junk.

    For anyone on OpenMW:
You need NullifiedUser's 'Fabulous Hlaalo Manor Postion Fix'  in order to use this mod, otherwise it's impossible to exit Hlaalo Manor without using the tcl command. Unfortunately this is not mentioned in the modlists on Modding-OpenMW, which is where I imagine most OpenMW users like myself are being referred to this mod from. The Google Drive link can be found in the Bugs tab, found directly next to the Posts tab.

IMO the NullifiedUser's hotfix should be added to Files.

    Hi there !

I had the exit issue too, glad there is a fix in the bug section !
Quick question, once I’m done with the quest, I can safely delete the corps, it is not needed again, right ?

Thanks for the mod, love my new home ! ^^

Very nice upgrade, the manor now looks  and feels a  lot better.

    One suggestion "
could Nileno Dorvayn give the player a choice of reward after solving the murder ?
One choice would be the monetary reward it is now, a 2nd choice could be to purchase the manor  for a reasonable price, say 3k gold .
The player should then get a deed to prove they are the legal owner.

Indeed, if the manor was offered to buy as a reward for the quest, it would be excellent ! That’s what I’ll roleplay ^^

Will this erase/reset all the stuff I've already got on display and in containers on the property?

I originally thought so too when I first played the game, it's actually a house in Balmora that belonged to an NPC named "Ralen Hlaalo".

There is a quest in House Hlaalu that brings you to the house, however it has always been free for the taking at any point.

It looks good but no fireplace. That's a big missed opportunity. Still a big improvement though.

Missed Opportunity? Sounds like a 1.1 update to me...

      Thanks :)

I really like the atmosphere you've added! Feels much more like a mansion and gives a much better sense of Ralen Hlaalo's personality now :)

If I might make some suggestions:
    - Ralen's body could be moved back downstairs, and a guard standing about to prevent the player from stealing all the nice new collection you've added
    - The servant used to have a little bedroom. I know there's not much space to add it back to the upper floor, but maybe you could extend the house into a basement in a future update? Could have a kitchen/cellar/bedroom down there
    - There are some dark lights by the staircase (added by vanilla) that look really bad (at least on my setup)
    - Agreed with fragonard about the fireplace :D a good fireplace always improves a look

      Thanks :)

Great suggestions, I will post an update for these soon.
A guarded crime-scene sounds pretty cool, that will def be one of the options.

      Edit:
The update is now posted, I will keep the basement idea in mind for the future still ;)
