Master of Puppets
By ProfArmitage
Based on a Dungeons & Dragons adventure by Carl Sargent

Created for the May Modathon 2022

A renegade sorcerer has stolen a unique magical tome from the Telvanni in Vivec. You must track him down and face him and his unique magically animated bodyguards.

To start the quest, talk to the Dark Elf standing outside the Monster Lab in the Telvanni Canalworks in Vivec.
When you are told that you have a limited amount of time to complete the quest, it isn't an exaggeration. You won't fail the quest like the East Empire Company quest in Bloodmoon, but it will be much more difficult after the clock runs out.
Toward the end of the quest, you may obtain a special enchanted companion. If this companion is killed, a new version can be summoned, if enough time has elapsed. Be sure to collect anything carried by the dead one.
I would recommend being around level 12-15 for this quest and have plenty of healing. The boss isn't overly powerful, but he cheats during the fight, making him tougher than his level would suggest.
After being cleared, the dungeon can serve as a modest player home, compatible with Ashfall, Realistic Repairs, and Morrowind Crafting (to a degree). It includes multiple beds, barrels, crates, closets, shelves, tables, and bookcases, as well as a firepit, well, anvil, and set of alchemy equipment. You will need to go outside to cook and collect water though. It also includes several bare rooms suitable for decoration using the furniture or crafting mod of your choice.

This mod only uses vanilla Morrowind scripts, so it should be compatible with OpenMW, but I don't know the details of how OpenMW works.
