If you replace the original opaque scum texture with a modern transparent HD texture, you will notice a strong mismatch between the water and scum levels. This mod changes the location of the scum models (terrain_bc_scum_01, 02, 03) to better match the water level. Makes all swamps perfect. Changed all regions where scum occurs: Ashurnibibi, Bitter Coast, Gnaar Mok, Hla Oad, Seyda Neen.
This mod works on vanilla engine, including MGE XE (MWSE is not required) or OpenMW (recommended). Only Morrowind is required. Plugin is clean. MGE XE: make sure that in the [Distant Land] tab, in the [Dynamic Ripples] section, the Height of waves value is zero, otherwise the dynamic waves will overlap the texture, which looks terrible. OpenMW: the mod was developed specifically for version 0.48. In 0.47, flickering is possible.
