    Interesting concept. Would recommend tweaking the crime/morality mechanic. For example, setting of the stair traps in your Writ mod will get you expelled from the Morag Tong. Crimes committed around NPCs with a 0 alarm rating, ie they wont report your crime, will still trigger an expulsion. A witness mechanic would also be a boon since killing an NPC without any witness around can still trigger a crime reported and thus an expulsion. At the moment I find myself playing with the Privilege setting set to 0 in order not to be expelled at random intervals.

      Additionally, a NPC blacklist so companions don't count as witnesses or against your identity being revealed. Not being able to interact smoothly with my companions, Julan and Arvesa, was enough to make me uninstall.

    How do we get back to concealed once revealed? I'm not sure to understand the MCM options.

    Edit- The mechanism that makes people not talk to us when wearing visible morag tong visible armor pieces looks like a broken game (unresponsive dialogue box, all keywords from persuasion to the last) rather than some gameplay mechanism. I think something should warn or explained about that, that it's per design, that's it's made to force you to swapp armor out of sight or risk having the identiy revealed.

    Because it looks like a bug when you don't know that it's caused by the mod, I reinstalled a game backup some days ago and was about to do it again before troubleshooting the mods, finding it was this one and then how it works.

    This may be a stupid question, but is this OpenMW compatible?
    I've seen it listed on a modlist, where the author labeled if mods were compatible with OpenMW or Vanilla, and this mod was listed with neither. This led me to believe it may be compatible with both. However I installed it and it doesn't seem to be working.

    I was wondering if this was possible to make this compatible with the NPC mod Dras. It doesn't do anything gamebreaking but I'm pretty sure the secret identity mechanic is blocking some of his Morag Tong related dialogue from firing so half the dialogue he's saying 'hey you should join the tong' and the other half he's reacting to the writs I've taken like he knows I'm a member of the tong.

    Great concept but I'm being kicked from the tong for.....basically just playing the game, like taking out bandits. Being punished for exploring caves runs anathema to Morrowind's concept as a whole. I love the idea of keeping your identity secret but with having to reload saves due to not taking out a bandit in one hit and somehow having him telepathically report you to the Tong is a bit ridiculous.

    I don't know if you still read comments, but I'll ask anyway. Doesn't this mod make wearing Morag Tong gear (while not presenting Writs) useless?

      you can still walk around in Morag Tong armor but only as long as you also wear a helmet that covers your face so your identity isn't revealed. after you gain ranks in the Morag Tong guild that restriction loosens

      I see. And after the rank gain, if I reveal my identity, is there permanant negative consequences to it being revealed? Such as people in missions less willing to give me informations or targets attacking me immediately?

      not sure really, sorry. I haven't played the Morag Tong questline far enough to gain that rank. I assume the only thing that changes is that you won't immediately get expelled and can commit crimes (at least if you kept your identity completely hidden as mentioned in the description)
