Would it be possible to make a change in the mod so as to not affect walking speed so much? I want the full impact on running slowly and everything else, but regular walking is very slow as is in vanilla morrowind and I like to use it for immersion. But with this and also playing with mods that reduce my carry weight even further I am almost always quite near my limit and my walk speed come to a crawl. It would be nice if it affected everything as is now with running etc but be a little more easy going on nerfing walk speed until you are like 80-90% encumbered.
Does this mean that if I leave my character over-encumbranced for a long time the chatacter will just keep leveling up medium armor? I want to know how long it would take, for example, medium armor lvl 5 to lvl 15?
Oh the folks on the Discord got on his case for it. The cool thing about this mod, though, is that it's a sliding scale, so it is a greater effect than usual and as you near your encumbrance limit, the slowdown effect is exponentially more. In vanilla, there's not much difference between 50 pounds under your limit and 1 pound under your limit.
But anyways we can't expect Safebox to know vanilla mechanics. He's never played the game!
I did actually know it's a vanilla mechanic. But it's not as strong as it probably should be. 10/200 and 199/200 feel the same to me. But touch 200/200 and suddenly you're paralysed.
This mod is intended to make the weight you're carrying have a stronger effect before that.

Did you know that even in vanilla Morrowind, your movement speed is affected by current encumbrance?

I'll have a check and update the mod if this turns out not to be the case.
